  3. Two key books for sale! Both in newer CGC slabs. Slabs are pristine. Payment by PayPal. Shipping is $20 in the US. No returns on slabs. No HOS/Probation members. Not looking to trade, sorry.
  4. I’m sure it would open up a lot of storage space. But at the same token it removes the possibility of knowing the whereabouts of a piece.
  5. I was discussing with a fellow collector yesterday about so many amazing pieces on CAF. And the discussion came about that some of the gallery owners have not updated their gallery in many years. One such gallery were discussing has not been updated since 2010! We were wondering what may have happened. Did the collector want to keep his collection private after years of posting dozens of pieces? Or maybe they fell out of collecting and sold everything? They became tired of inquiries from other collectors to sell? Or worse....? Its interesting that so many amazing pieces are out there possibly sitting in folios untouched for years. What do ya'll think may have happened?
  6. Thanks for the insight. While I have no reason to defend the piece as it’s the only appearance of Sandman in Books of Magic, the price was set by the consignor. Don’t like the price? Move on.
  7. Some great pieces added with more to come! Take a look! https://www.comicartshop.com/ComicArtShopsByCat.asp?GCat=236
  8. When I receive interest in a piece I’ve no plans to sell, I just give a crazy high price. Usually never hear back
  9. What did Heritage say about this? They should have their own insurance as well.
  10. Congrats! We need a 1 minute later piece to go with it!
  11. I emailed him directly. Very fast turnaround and amazing work!
  12. Well since it hasn’t reached cool lines it’s still alive
  13. It was actually graded later on. See if you can find it. Was a Detective 33.
  14. FYI I’ve seen cgc grade books with resto by the Meyers. It’s amazing and interesting how a perception of their work has effected the entire market for restored books. It wasn’t long ago when most restorers wanted to make books look NM. With improved techniques and technology, restoration will only continue to improve.
  15. Very sorry to hear! I bid on the book to about 38k but assumed it was an IGB job. Sadly I’ve also auctioned books in December and have lost my shirt. It’s not the best time to sell with the holidays.
  16. Hasn’t been pressed. Stain on the top back is from distributor ink from the top of the pages. Thoughts?
