  1. My 20+ year old scanner has finally moved on to the great tech dump in the sky so I'm trying something new.  Please bear with me while work out the kinks.  I can already tell I need different lighting for the photographs as having the light source on the left leaves a slight shadow on the right side of the cover.  Also, the light bulb I used tonight is a slightly yellow CFL so I think it added a slight yellow tint to the images which I don't like.  As I work through this, constructive suggestions will be appreciated.  I hope to post a number of Bronze Age Incredible Hulk, then work my way back to some Silver Age issues.  Thanks.

  2. I'd like to get a little info out of the current Overstreet annual for some SA/BA books and my "current" guide is 2019.  If there's someone online for a few minutes who would be willing to help me with that, message me please.  Thanks.

Howdy David, you ought to start your count on the purchases from Jim Corrigan. xD

@DavidTheDavid is a very astute boardie who knows a good thing when he sees it and he's so easy to deal with that he's always welcome on my threads.  Perhaps you could start a competition with him to see which of you can buy more books from me... :baiting: xD

  4. I sold Ernie some beautiful Tomb of Dracula issues. He is an incredibly pleasant, patient and relaxed boardie to deal with and good to his word.  I would do business again with Ernie any day of the week which ends in a 'y'.  :foryou:

  5. So, since this is my thread, my little universe, and I can do ANYTHING I want (almost), and I'm feeling drunk with power, I hereby decree that any item listed in this thread, prior to and not including the Tec 140 and other slabs listed yesterday, and which has a listed price of $3.50 or more, shall be for at least the rest of the day 10% off.  I have so spoken! :preach:zzz

Allegedly they will be releasing the final episodes of the show at some point, although I'm still skeptical. They're shot, and when asked directly James Gunn claimed they were in the pipeline but who knows - I wouldn't be surprised if they're just waiting it out until everyone forgets and moves on rather than stirring up bad feelings during the transfer to Gunn.

So, they have what... six more episodes that haven't streamed?  The last episode I saw was the season 4, episode 6.

  7. Time for another updated summary of what's still available.  I know this thread is almost as old as I am but there are still quite a few books available which I'd still like to sell so I'll add to this thread as I can.  I've tried to make sure this is an accurate summary of what's still available but mistakes happen.  More coming soon!  Thanks!

    See you again in 2025?

Nah, I'll cut that three years in half.  I thought about getting back to you sooner but, since apparently you and I are the only people left on this thread, I thought I'd better spread it out a bit, make it last.  xD

I continue to be amazed at how few of these books there are in high grade (I think there's one more 9.0 since I last looked at the census) and I never see one sell.  That must be the very definition of rare.

Now that the TV series has come to a premature end, I guess it's time to binge, start over watching from the beginning and watch all the way through.  Has anyone watched the entire run?

    I'll take ToD:  59, 57, 55, 54, 51, 40, 39, 38, 33, 32, 31, 30, 28, 23, 22, 21 as PER PM

Thanks, Ernie!  ^^ (with slight qualification)  The PM quote from me to you covered only the original list of 15 books which you messaged me about on Sep 20; issue 54 wasn't included in that original list and I was unaware that you had added it.  The board software didn't indicate in any way that you had edited your original PM to add a book so I didn't give it another glance and I worked off of the first list I received to calculate your total.  No worries.  I have issue 54 and I'm sure it all works out.  I will send you an update PM right away.  It has been my pleasure messaging with you.

Ernie told me that yesterday was Thanksgiving in Canada so I want to wish a Happy Thanksgiving to all of our Canadian board members!  :foryou:  I hope everyone north of the border has much to be thankful for and I am thankful for all of the Canadian board members that I've had the pleasure to meet (virtually, that is :)) and get to know.
