I recall this being answered by Ridley Scott in an interview back around 2000.

Didn't realize his origin was still in doubt.

Penthouse Comix started off as an insert inside Penthouse magazine. Two or three issues at least.

Is that an homage to Aramdillo World Headquarters I see on that cover?

That picture is about 7 or 8 years old.

All the mags are still mine (I never sell anything) and yes I still add to the collection.

Time to pull the ol' mega image out of retirement.

If time and little things like not being alive did not have to be considered, Gregory Peck would have been the perfect Doctor Strange.

The EC picto-fiction magazines are also great.

I agree but don't include them as mag keys as they are such oddities.

Not on the radar of many mag collectors... sort of falls within the purview of the EC collectors and completists more than the mag collectors.

Can't believe no one has mentioned Heavy Metal.
