  5. The toughest & highest demanded signature at the 2014 SDCC was Frank Miller. He did not have any scheduled signings other than the Sin City 2 poster signing. My wife and I were able to corner him for a few moments to get a few books signed. Here they are: The Daredevil 181 and 180 are signed by Miller and Klaus Janson: This Daredevil 179 is signed by Miller, Janson, and Stan Lee: Sin City: a Dame to Kill For # 1 signed by Miller:

  8. Still a work in progress, but this GRINDHOUSE cast book is coming along nicely! Robert Rodriguez & QUENTIN TARANTINO + 5 cast members including Mary Elizabeth Winstead!!!!
  9. Congrats JJ, that book cost a "pretty penny" to get done.
  10. I recall at the 2010 SDCC he did a signing at the Dark Horse booth and though it was a two book limit, if you handed him 4 or 5 books he signed them. The 2011 SDCC signing at the Legendary booth was a strict 1 book per person due to the size of the people waiting in line. This year, it's Frank's health keeping him from meeting and signing for fans. It's quite remarkable that he showed up to promote Sin City 2 at the Comic Con. It was very apparent the he was in poor health & unable to interact with his fans. You could tell he wanted to meet more fans and sign books, but he just was in no condition to do it.
  11. Wow, those got to the UK fast!!!! Lloyd you have done so much for me over the past couple of years, it was my pleasure to get these books done for you. Fellow collectors I tried to get more books signed by Arnie, but I could only get one. Still, it was a thrill to get to see him. I was surprised to find that he is not very tall in person. Though I could only get one book signed, he was very autograph friendly and I hope to get another opportunity at getting a book signed for myself. Oddly, the toughest autograph to get at this year's SDCC was Frank Miller. Due to his health, he was very guarded by his security & handlers. My wife and I were very fortunate to get to spend a moment or two with him before a panel and were only able to get a few books signed (and that was tougher than getting a Bill passed thru Congress). To the best of my knowledge, Jesse Campbell and I were the only people who were able to get anything signed by Frank that wasn't a Sin City poster. When you consider that Frank was at the convention for 3 days and he normally is a very autograph friendly creator, that's very surprising that more books didn't get signed.
  12. It might be visiting you in the future Lloyd, gotta add John Hurt one of these days!!!!
  13. My new project, putting together an ALIEN cast book. I'm off to a good start:
