VF are very rare at Heritage . Never seen 9s ( maybe one ) . Based on what do you think CGC will be stricter ? So far based on their sample , it is graded same as Heritage .

Not sure . You can't tell from that far away . I see a lot of wear on the spine and the bottom corner , who knows what else we can't see . But I share your concern . Hopefully they grade as per Heritage standards as I got most of mine from there . Edit : I took a snapshot and enlarged it . There is some kind of stain or color rub or creasing on the top right . Lots of wear on the spine . I am thinking it is graded fairly for a pulp ./

Saw bunch of CGC slabbed pulps shown at new york comic con ... I assume this is not available for the public yet ? I don't see the option listed on CGC website I think . How soon ?

Anyone know how Heritage Auctions calculates shipping ? They charged me $195 usd to ship to Canada for 4 slabbed comic books . I have asked them many times how they arrive at these numbers and I never get an answer . It is like pulling teeth getting an answer on this which makes me think the shipping department just slaps whatever they want on it .

I hope this is not taken the wrong way but is there any plans to upgrade the CGC cases ? To improve the newton rings , waviness etc . I can live with newton rings . But the waviness I see in the comics is a concern . Almost all the books I have bought , they don't lie completely flat and I can see that the inner mylar itself is wavy . And I have asked other comic book buyers and they tell me the same thing . If you could get a better case , you would be rock solid .
