  1. Thought I'd revive that thread with a pick-up from C2E2:

This was originally a pencil piece by Steve McNiven entitled "His Father's Lightsaber" that he did for a Star Wars card set. I purchased it from Steve at the first C2E2. He said it was actually rejected, but he liked it better than the one they chose. I had Mark Morales ink a blue line copy in 2012 and then had a great time working with Justin Ponsor at C2E2 2014 to color the inked piece. Here's the final product that I picked up from Justin Saturday night:

  2. Chris is a wonderful guy and fun to chat with in person, but he doesn't attend cons regularly. There was a sketch and signature opportunity run by Rich_Henn on the boards about 10 months ago and I think he may be planning on doing it again sometime this year. That's really your best option. Keep an eye out in the Signature Room for any announcements or maybe send Rich a Private Message and let him know you're interested…good luck!

  3. So hard to choose. This obviously will change and depends on what I've got in photobucket at the moment, but I'll go with the following 5:

This Robert Atkins won me my Best of the Best Snake Eyes title:

Clay Mann on a Troy blank, he just felt like adding the logo for fun:

Jim Cheung is such a spectacular talent. Got this before DC was putting out blanks:

The Chris Bachalo goes with a special story that I posted back in 2011, but very short version is this is one of my faves because my wife and I got to hang out with Chris for an hour and chat while he started it:

Last, but not least, I've always wanted a sketch from Lee Bermejo and was so excited when he showed up at C2E2 last year. He wasn't taking commissions, but doing incredible free sketches. My favorite freebie ever:
