Just contacted Brauny, he had two sketches but unfortunately already sold them both. so the hunt continues.
-
wow did not know that. just checked the completed auctions but couldn't find it. I've been checking ebay the last few days, it must of ended shortly before I started looking. Thanks for the help so far guys.

that 2.0 looks great

there are so many attractive sups cover's during the first 1-24 run. wouldn't mind picking up one from issue's 15-23 someday (you know, the one's I might be able to afford )

Hey I just posted this over in the comic book WTB forum but prob should have just posted it here. I'm interested in buying a sub-mariner sketch by bill everett. I want one where subby looks more like the GA 40's version. I know these don't come up for sale too often but I thought it couldn't hurt to ask. pm me a pic and price if anyone has anything or can steer me in the right direction. Thanks

I'd take the spidey but pray everynight that another 9.6 doesn't pop up on the census. GL just isn't a character I have any interest in.
-
your 3.5 presents well, esp for a cover that shows every defect.
-
wow, if the seller really did get the full asking (as absurd as I think that is) then congrats to him. I would have probably given in and acccepted an offer once it got around 100k so looks like I would have left a substantial amount of money on the table.

really like those ikea cabinets. very affordable and they look great. What kind of lights did you use, especially for the middle shorter cabinet. I'm assuming led's? Was there a certain type?

Here's a christmas gift I got from my girlfriend which was a pleasant surprise. A nice addition to my mid grade shock suspense run and looks pretty sharp in hand. I really like this cover too even though alot don't. I'll be cracking this one out and giving it a read. I'm really starting to get hooked on these e.c.'s I know, I know, not important stuff but atleast it keeps the thread alive.

look below the "c" in comics on the photo and on the #12. there's no black border running down the spine like on the #12.
-
Wow, what's up with that URHC?
^ that was my thoughts exactly.
-
thanks, always loved the human torch cover on #13 and the sub-mariner cover on #10. Really hoping to grab a copy of 10 next year.

Worked out some times payments with 143ksk and got this just in time for Christmas

I finally get to contribute to this wonderful thread once again. I got myself an early Christmas gift in the mail today. My first marvel mystery and one of my favorites (thanks again Steve).
book is slabbed (same grade)
-
wow rube you have quite the silver/bronze collection.
-
I remember your 9. that was a sweet book. can't wait for that group shot when you replace it.
-
glad to see you got yourself a #1, and a nice one I might add. Does that make your mini run 1-19 complete? or was it more?

hhhmmm, didn't realize this before but my shock suspenstories 9 isn't the same width as my tales from the crypt. Is this normal? i'm no resto expert but It looks like it might be trimmed. it measure 7 1/8 inches wide wheres my crypt measures about 7 and 1/4 inches. Just purchased both recently off a comiconnect auction. I figured they should both measure the same right? anyone have a copy of shock suspenstories #9 handy that can measure theirs. I'd appriciate it. Travis

ok it's been 3 months so I'm gonna give this thread a bump. Haven't come close to finding one for sale. It's a long shot but if a board member owns this one that sold on heritage in 06 send me a pm. Even if you don't wanna sell it to me atleast let me drool and tell you how much I love it and envy you.
