Hello,
I am looking for Wizards illustration art by Mike Ploog done on the brown animation paper. There is one in particular I am really trying to find of the one with all the tanks in the background. If you have or know someone who has some please do let me know. I will pay cash and have a great stuff for trade.

Oh man Bird that is terrible. Coming from someone who spends so much time making sure their packing is bomb proof, it is very upsetting.

If a live action tv show or movie is ever made I'd be willing to give it a fair shot.
No worries. Spawn gets a lot better as it goes on. Also the cartoon is a very adult cartoon. It was actually way ahead of its time. I would buy the collection and give it a watch. It is pretty awesome. And yea the Spawn movie Todd is working on is a live action and BBC network is already making a show about Sam and Twitch,the two detectives in Spawn.

That is interesting. This is the first time I have seen it. Not that it matters. But one thing I found out, is that vellum looks a lot better in person then in a pic. It really makes the inks look rich and vibrant.

I like that spidey cover by Gil Kane! I wonder what that will do.

From what I Little I saw and know of the movie I would probably not invest any time in that.
The 5 minutes of the cartoon I saw about 20 years ago didn't grab me but the first time I saw Aqua Teen I thought WTF and turned the channel only to actually watch it and enjoy the hell out of it.
I have never read a single Spawn comic and would not be against reading the first 10 or so issues and see if it'd like to continue. In fact Spawn 2 is one of my favorite covers from the 1990's and I used to own a CGC Signature Series copy signed by Todd although it's Ken Steacy's colors that really grab me with that cover.
Ah Man Ken Steacy was killing it on those covers. Maybe I got you confused with another poster. I just hate when I have good intentions making a post only to have it met with insults against creators I look up too. Thats all. Lets put this behind us and move on. I remember being offered Spawn#1 by Ken Steacy years ago. He still does great work. I commissioned him a few years back. Knocked it out the park. I would give Spawn a look over again, cartoon and comic.

I guess its my fault for the hijack. All I meant for was a discussion about do people think movies create more demand for the art that inspired them. I apologize to everyone involved. I will not write a post defending how much I like Mcfarlane. I was just wondering because nobody here has talked about how bad the Punisher was in DD and Iron Fist on netflix. Dont worry no more Hijacking. Clink has a nice auction put together like HA's. Lots of goodies to be had!
Seriously guys I dont want a back in forth. Lets just say Todd Mcfarlane has a lot of fans and a few haters =)

Did you know those facts or had to research them for your post? I did not have HBO in the early years. I just remembered I would catch it sometimes before the sopronoes. I did however buy the Spawn collection and have watched it three times. You are saying spawn sucks and I am trying to explain why me and so many others liked it and you bust out your imdb and emmy facts. Dude you are funny!

Someone mentioned the Spawn art at auction and I said I should have not sold all of mine. At one time I had like 50 pieces. And I said I thought it was cool that a movie was coming out and was just lamenting the previous comment. I have noticed that when it goes Hollywood and is well done prices seem to go up. Should have bought that Iron Fist#14 when I had the chance..AGHHHH

No, I came on this thread mentioning how good I thought Spawn was and immeaditley was attacked by people like you who only come on here to feel important in this hobby and get attention by slamming something that was positive. Has nothing to do with being right. That is my whole point. I came to talk about Spawn and how cool I think it is that there is another movie in the works and people like you cant help themselves from starting a fight. Look at you with your 10,000 posts.
