  1. Movie numbers don't lie... Outside of Black Panther, who has a billion dollar franchise? Spidey is the closest and his trend line is down... I'm talking star power. Not team chemistry. I'm not saying it can't work, but I think this is the end of this kinda blockbuster for awhile.
  2. I see a less than inspiring team. But I could be wrong. I guess we'll see.
  3. Disagree totally. Where's the star power? Cap and Iron Man ARE the Avengers. Don't forget, Thor's gone too. And so is Natasha and Vision. We're left with the supporting cast to reform the team. Ugh. Outside of Tchalla, you can't support a big budget movie with that crew. Teenage Spidey is entertaining. Cap Marvel is way over powered and has the personality of drying paint. Professor Hulk is annoying and pinning for Nat. Who leads the new team? Sam was absolutely the wrong person to give the shield too. His gimmick is entertaining and hard to replace. It also made no sense. He gives the shield to a guy that's been missing in action for five years that Cap has known for a couple years instead of his lifelong friend that is one of the best hand to hand combat fighters in the MCU? I just don't get it.
  4. Tormund is alive. And apparently, so are both dragons... http://time.com/5578054/game-of-thrones-battle-of-winterfell-deaths/
  5. I feel a little let down by the ending, and it's obvious the show is pushing Arya at us hard. Not surprising as she's a favorite of Martins... I wouldn't at all be surprised if Gendry and Arya sit the throne. Robert and Neds children . Sansa and Tyrion sure look like they might be inheriting Winterfell. Not sure where that leaves Jon and Dany. Dead, most likely. Also think Jaimie and Brienne are toast. Theon had quite possibly the best redemption arc of the entire series. Ended his life with complete atonement and forgiveness. Iron Born we're bad to the bone!
  6. Well, it's a sliding scale for sure. Dany is a "good guy" compared to Cersei. But not so much when compared to Jon. Jon is a "Good" guy full of honor and nobility. But remember what that got his father, and his uncle Ned.
  7. Sam is alive. Tormund does not appear to be dead and apparently, Rhaegal is alive as well.
  8. Episode was good, but I'm beginning to doubt the intelligence of the brain trust. * Put the weak in the crypts with the dead?!? Against a guy that raises the dead? * Why would you land a dragon amongst enemies? Seems really stupid. Stay in the air and flambé. Wights can't fly. Except Viserion of course. * Why charge the dothraki blindly into the dead horde? * The dead are standing at the trenches waiting for instructions. Roast em!
  9. I didn't get the impression that Rhaegal survived. Could be wrong, I couldn't see. 😂
  10. Had a great transaction with Ro. We traded multiple books and everything went smoothly. Would not hesitate to deal with again.
  11. Interesting, I read through a couple pages of this and as far as I could tell no one listed Schomburg... 1. Jack Kirby - Prolific, Action sequences are amazing, Almost single handed jump started the Hero genre in the 60s. 2. Neal Adams - Changed the game in the 70s. 3. Alex Schomburg - Crazy cover layouts that just worked. A one man Ally propaganda machine. 4. John Romita - His work on Spidey is just epic. ASM 39, ASM 50, ASM 67 Classics! Honorable mentions: Matt Baker - His rendering of the female form may be the best in comic history. LB Cole - His horror and romance covers are some of the most sought after in collecting. Instant classics. (See Mask 1 and Mask 2) Frazetta - Some of the most amazing covers in the genre. If he was just a bit more prolific he'd be in my top 4.
