  1. Simply no good can come of this discussion...
  2. Thanos mentioned in IG that it was totally at random. He quantified it as "fair".
  3. I have two daughters and I use it as high praise in my house. After seeing the females in my life fight through chronic illnesses and injuries. "Fight like a girl" is the ultimate compliment. My daughters even have a t-shirt for breast cancer awareness that has that slogan.
  4. I get you. I dislike Evans and Ruffalo for their SJW antics. And Johannson for that matter. But a LOT of people have had the shield. It's actually a great story to be told. The embodiment of what the shield means and someone taking it that isn't worthy of it.
  5. Uhhhhh, people become attached to characters. It isn't going to be easy for audiences to see someone else playing Iron Man. Plus RDJ is larger than life. He was literally perfect for that part. Not a fan of Chris Evans, and don't think it will be AS difficult to replace him. Whoever, plays Iron Man will forever be measured against RDJ. Tough.
  6. Many of the MCU movies are a little lackluster. The first two Thors, second two Iron Mans, First Cap wasn’t great, Second Avengers.
  7. Touche. Unwatchable for a second viewing. I slept through Batman v Superman. JLA was really bad but I did power through. I like Shazam far more than I did Wonder Woman. Damn shame that DC screwed up the advertising for it so badly.
  8. It’s a different degree of “bad”. I have lower expectations of DC across the board, so I’m literally almost never disappointed. The last two iron man movies left me cold. Justice League and Batman v Superman were unwatchable. Suicide squad had me rolling. I don’t think it was intended as comedy, but hey. I will say Shazam was decent. Bordering on quite good.
  9. Really? Iron Man 3 was completely unenjoyable to me. Suicide squad was bad but I didn’t have the same sort of visceral dislike for it. But, hey, that’s your opinion. You’re entitled to it. My post Seems to have rubbed you the wrong way. Not sure why...
  10. Beautifully said... I think for most of us, this movie was a childhood dream come to life. I fret about the movies of the future and nitpick this one, but it was epic. Sheer joy and excitement that took me back to the 1970s spinning that old spinner rack at the drug store eagerly looking for the new Cap comic. I took my daughters to see End Game, and seeing the wonder in their eyes brought tears to mine. Doesn’t get much better than that.
  11. I agree Marvel has had stellar results for the most part. Doesn't mean they're above reproach or haven't put out some baaaad, (yes suicide squad bad) movies. For every Infinity War there's at least one Iron Man 3. Or the god awful Iron Fist on Netflix.
  12. He just made an honest observation. It's his opinion. I happen to share it. The female force thing was really cringe-worthy. Iron Man and Cap REALLY are the heart and soul of the team. Doesn't mean they can't be replaced, but it remains to be seen whether they can be or not. Not by Brie Larson or Falcon as Cap. That's for sure... Tchalla could take on a bigger role. But they need the crazy mad scientist and the Patriot man out of time angle too.
  13. I'd replace the Iron Man/Rescue scene with Hawkeye Black Widow scene. Other than that, I totally agree with the list. Honorable mention, Iron Man and Spidey reunion. Tony was racked with guilt/grief with Parker's death and that was a great scene.
  14. Wow. I HATED the Hulk CGI. Thought it was terrible. Literally worst part of the movie. (Movie I really liked. Just thought there were some poor choices made.).
  15. Doubtful, extra special fx costs. It will just go away never to be mentioned again or will be explained why it's gone.
  16. Agreed. 40s or 50s. Banjo clock on the wall is perfect for that period.
  17. According to Marvel history, Hulk has a healing factor on par with Wolverines.
