  1. Pov and I just successfully completed a transaction with no issues whatsoever. He purchased a book, paid fast and good communication! Smooth as silk.
  2. Found this at an antique mall yesterday. Its higher grade. Probably 7.5 post press. They kinda knew what they had, priced by over street, so it wasn’t a buck.
  3. I don’t. I posted pics of a lot of them in the “Show your ASMs” threads. Thats prolly a good idea to do one though.
  4. Wow! I literally just bought a copy a couple Clinks ago…. Id have been much better off with this one.
  5. Mines not as good as the one I sold you. Took me years to replace it.
  6. Wow. Thought this book was a little hotter than this... Crickets are a chirping... How about a price drop to $400.
  7. Just one book for now. Maybe more later... I dunno... Rules: No HOS or Probies. (I know others will sell to those on the list. I will not...) US Only (Sorry, I'm not getting warm fuzzies from the USPS on international packages lately...) Shipping is $15 no matter how much you buy. Returns accepted within 2-weeks, but they're on you unless I make an error. (e.g. Sent you the wrong book, missed something on a raw book etc.) PayPal or Checks are fine. Checks are always appreciated but not required. Just to be clear, I will NOT touch the funds from a check until the buyer has received their book and are satisfied. PM negotiations are fine, but in the thread rules. I will be the final arbiter if there is any controversy. (I expect none...)
  8. Here's some other examples: https://www.comiclink.com/auctions/item.asp?back=%2FAUCTIONS%2FSEARCH.ASP%3FPreviewCode%3D2022sept%26where%3Dauctions%26title%3DGreen%2BLantern%2B76%26GO%3DGO%26ItemType%3DCB%23Item_1617065&id=1617065&itemType=0 $500 under GPA https://www.comiclink.com/auctions/item.asp?back=%2FAUCTIONS%2FSEARCH.ASP%3FPreviewCode%3D2022sept%26where%3Dauctions%26title%3DGreen%2BLantern%2B76%26GO%3DGO%26ItemType%3DCB%23Item_1617943&id=1617943&itemType=0 $600 under GPA https://www.comiclink.com/auctions/item.asp?back=%2FAUCTIONS%2FSEARCH.ASP%3FPreviewCode%3D2022sept%26where%3Dauctions%26title%3DAvengers%2B1%26GO%3DGO%26ItemType%3DCB%23Item_1608077&id=1608077&itemType=0 $500 under GPA
  9. Bronze is definitely more available than silver, and I agree there's plenty of copies out there, though anyone with 9.8 Spotlight 5s would be a fool not to sub em. Since apparently they're worth a quarter of a million dollars. (!!!!)
  10. . Do you have anything to support that? Still seems like a relatively difficult book in 9.8 for a 70s book with only 19 on census. I realize it's not as hard as Spotlight 5 or Hero for Hire 1. But it's much, much less than ASM129 or Marvel Premiere 15. The last couple years was a perfect time to cash these in, why weren't they subbed if there are so many around?
  11. I can. https://www.comiclink.com/auctions/item.asp?back=%2FAUCTIONS%2FSEARCH.ASP%3FPreviewCode%3D2022sept%26where%3Dauctions%26title%3Dwerewolf%2Bby%2Bnight%2B32%26GO%3DGO%26ItemType%3DCB%23Item_1611757&id=1611757&itemType=0 $3000 UNDER GPA? https://www.comiclink.com/auctions/item.asp?back=%2FAUCTIONS%2FSEARCH.ASP%3FPreviewCode%3D2022sept%26where%3Dauctions%26title%3DStrange%2BTales%2B110%26GO%3DGO%26ItemType%3DCB%23Item_1612424&id=1612424&itemType=0 $700+ under GPA https://www.comiclink.com/auctions/item.asp?back=%2FAUCTIONS%2FSEARCH.ASP%3FPreviewCode%3D2022sept%26where%3Dauctions%26title%3DAmazing%2BSpiderman%2B300%26GO%3DGO%26ItemType%3DCB%23Item_16spam&id=16spam&itemType=0 About $500 under 12-month
  12. I keep track of my own collection of blue chips and the bleeding is real. Books I got for under GPA just a few months ago are now 20% cheaper than what I paid. No one knows where the bottom is, but books appear to be coming down across the board. (SA, BA and Modern.) GA seems to be holding up better for now, but for how long?
  13. I've read some of the commentary here regarding the show. Just my two cents: * Serious deviation from the source material is always going to annoy the fans of that source material. If you're gonna deviate it better be good... (I think the jury is still out whether this is going to be "good".) * Don't care one whit about the different races of actors playing the parts, though LOTR was based on Medieval England. Do have to ask why they had to change the canon of dwarven women being bearded. That seemed odd. * Galadriel's characterization is soooo far different from how she's portrayed in the books and the Jackson movies. It's a real culture shock. I find her character annoying and grating. I'm not a fan so far, but am hoping for the best.
  14. Nice book! I found this one to be one of the hardest to get of the first 20. It was the next to the last one I got for my 1 thru 102 run.
  15. Think that's totally fine. I've seen others do it. It's still board exclusive.
