I put Sergio on the list and it was pointed out that it hadn't been thirty days. I removed him last night. I put him on because he HAD ended communication with me and several boardies requested that I put him on. Sergio and I have agreed on a solution, if he doesn't follow through, then I'll put him back on properly after 30 days.

Any idea why the thread was locked? usually from what i've seen, once resolution has happened or the point of the thread is no longer viable, they lock before it gets into just cheap namecalling and undue bashing. plus we do not speak of the moderators and their motivations, they can strike thee down in one fell swoop without predjudice. heh heh. see the cap_freak thread for reference as well, i was unfortunately part of that. j Appreciate the clarification. As an update, Comicseekers has agreed to refund my money if I send back the box of books, which I will happily do. Worst that can happen is he DOESN'T refund and I'm out another 20 bucks. In which case, he can rot on probation. Noob question, the thread that I had started detailing this long CS odyssey is now locked, any idea why that would happen? Feel like we JUST started making some headway and now the thread is locked. Arrrrgghhh!

Dark day in boards land... Hope it's not someone I've bought from recently that I haven't received books from yet... (Very doubtful, as they're all top of the heap guys.) To change the subject back to the original topic. My box from Sergio has arrived, (Wife just called me and confirmed.), when I get home I'll start taking pics of the contents. If anyone is interested, I'll post.

Haven't gotten my box yet. But I intend to post pics of what I get. I suspect the other's haven't posted pics because they hope to resolve quietly with Sergio, I suppose.

Sergio, I have not received my box yet, but when I do and IF it contains the same drek that the others have posted, then you will be hearing from me as well. I do NOT think you have addressed Adam's post regarding what you posted and what he asserts. For instance: You said you were selling these boxes for what you paid for them, Adam says you paid LESS than 100 dollars. Are you saying that Adam is lying? You said the boxes were packed with 350+ books of Bronze mix of marvel and DC, several buyers have stated that they have received LESS than 300 bronze books total and in some cases 270 bronze books and 30 Heroes books. How did the books get from the 360+ that Adam asserts and the 300 that were received IF you didn't cherry pick them? Again, I have not seen you once refute anything that Adam has posted. I'm not "steaming" about this as I don't currently have anything to be steamed about. I'd just like to see you stand behind your words. I'm not confronting you about this privately, because this is something that YOU posted for everyone to see. Note, that I will document the arrival of my box and the contents of the box and that I will post the findings on the boards, good or bad. Michael

Let me preface this by saying, I have NOT received my box, so I'm not sure exactly how much "moral outrage" I should have. Have to say I'm a little amused at the "Buyer Beware" posts. In my opinion a Lie is a LIE. And at the very least, there are several discrepancies between what people have received and what was posted. I don't think it's too much to ask for honesty. I haven't been here long, but I can tell you, this isn't the wild west that ebay is and we shouldn't allow it to become that. I've had several successful transactions, many of them for what I consider a lot of money. My understanding of the rules are pretty simple. Just as with any other honest business transaction, the customer is always right. If they ain't happy, give them their money back. Must have missed the rule that states, "Screw others over IF you can get away with it." Should we, the ones that bought the boxes on faith, be penalized for being trusting? Would you feel the same way, if this was an unopened case of ASM 300's and they turned out to be a shortbox of beaters? I can tell you, I for one, will NOT do business that way, IF anyone that buys a book from me aren't happy with it, slabbed or not, send it back in it's original condition for a full refund, minus shipping costs. I post that in my listings and I stick by it 100%. I haven't contacted CS yet, because I haven't received what I bought, so I have no idea if what I bought is drek or not, but if it IS, I expect no less from him. If he doesn't comply, well then he's an and I won't buy from him again. For now I'm reserving judgment. But I hope that these boards aren't getting to the point that other boardies think it should be a "You get what you pay for" arena. A lie, no matter how small, is still a freaking lie. Ditto for fraud.

I've not received mine yet, but just because you're acting this way, I'll document mine from receipt, to opening the box, and show pictures of everything I get in it. I'm not saying that I've been scammed because I've not received them yet, but I'll have plenty of evidence to back it up either way. This is for my protection because someone is not telling the truth, you...or everyone else. We'll see who it is. +1
