    1-yes...pretty much best grade you can afford...cr/ow or better is preferable 2-right now, auction houses best bet to locate one...I don't know of any dealers selling outright at the moment 3-any character you like, first appearance...

    I obviously cannot speak to how others sell what they sell for the prices they get I can only offer my opinion based on over 100 af15 purchases and subsequent sales overs past few years.

    I believe Marvel chipping is a 10%+ reduction in value...sometimes more... I sold a 4.0 for $16K a few months ago...just paid in the 20K range for a nice 5.0 every book is different...gpa doesn't tell the tale in most cases (chipping or no chipping, white pages or lt tan, etc, etc)... eye appeal copies easily sell for a premium...lack of eye appeal hurts relative to the avg
