  1. put the arm on you-know-who if you want one. thumb pressure being applied, slowly
  2. A very timely purchase, Michael! I must have missed this sale, those are some nice HC
  3. My favorite too. Just fabulous George. I sure hope you bring this with you to Chicago Me too! guys, I doubt koko is coo coo enough to carry $70K books around with him...geesh we'll just have to plan a UK visit Don't be a dork. There are people at every show carrying around a lot more value in comics than that. Heck, I had more than that with me last year. Remember? yeah, but you are coo coo I know. But it was fun to enjoy them with friends Have to think about that. as much as I would LOVE to hold it, the decision is obvious Don't let the Gator wussify you. I don't understand the "not taking it" logic. So if you bought one just like it at the show, what then? Either way the book is with you and you control it. But hey, that's just how I roll. To each his own. Some keep their books in a bank downtown and have to schedule and appointment with them to visit for a few minutes.... Others keep them at home so they can enjoy them everyday. Whatever works for someone is fine by me. I am a keep at home and enjoy guy, but the only time I ever traveled with a book on plane (to SDCC 2 years ago), it got badly damaged (and it was a cheapy compared to that MF)...I guess the "risk" of handling, through airport security, on a plane, etc, etc is too much in my opinion on that copy ...now, I would LOVE to see some of 1koko's books in person versus a scan (I mean, that is a great joy of mine!), he has put together one of the best collections I know of in the past 2 years I have watched, but I wouldn't pressure him into bringing a "big" ticket item like that, because it is virtually unreplaceable.... but, georgie is a big boy, and will do what is good for him (thumbs u if I could drive it, I would do it, but flying (especially overseas) just would make me a "wuss"
  4. Awesome! My favorite Senorita Rio cover (for a couple of reasons )! Reason 1: Reason 2: I like it because the guy in the background is about to get clubbed with a giant ant!
  5. that is an expensive window to repair

  8. Well, it looks like a clean sweep for the Allentown copy of 'Tec 38 so far. A little surprsiing considering all the Robin haters on the boards here. Even more so when you consider how common the 'Tec 38 is in comparison to the Action 7. I guess it must have something to do with the high price the Action 7 was able to get in this go round, relative to its perceived market value. (thumbs u
  9. allentown tec 38...only one of those...there are other action 7's (though I might never see another one!)
  10. I love, and hate, you all at once over this book when I offered you my copy, you told me to ...well, not really appropriate for these clean forumns

  12. By all means Ghoulaid, lets see that Larson!! I can't IMAGINE how nice a book that must be. One of the all time great covers, and an all time great pedigree!!
  13. JB, if you have the Larson double on this book, I'm flying across country and will personally ... (great cover, really wish I had a copy) STEVE nope have the Larson of Science 2, 3 and 5... Still wading through the highly interesting threads after being away from the boards a few years. I'm not sure but I think I know who has the Larson copy of Science #4. Me.
  14. \I don't know squat about pulps, but I assume that one is stellar!... ye oh Tang of comic collectors!
