  1. Just finished my first transaction with Michael, and everything was top-notch from start to finish. The book was accurately graded, he shipped quickly and securely, and communication was prompt and he was a pleasure to deal with. Looking forward to dealing with him again on the boards. (thumbs u

  2. Just dealt with Robert for the first time, and everything went perfect. The books were accurately graded, shipped quickly and securely, and Robert was a pleasure to communicate with. On top of it, he threw in a couple of freebies as well. (worship) I'll definitely look to deal with him again in the future. (thumbs u

  3. Just completed my first transaction with Brent, and it couldn't have gone any smoother. :cloud9: Everything was graded accurately, shipped quickly and securely, and Brent was a pleasure to communicate with. Looking forward to future dealings with him. (thumbs u

  4. Just received a beautiful Spider-Man Book and Record from Wayne today -- well-packaged, shipped quickly, and priced too good to resist. It was a pleasure to do business with him for the first time, and I look forward to doing so again in the future. (thumbs u

  5. I'll be running a pretty nice thread in Copper/Modern on Sunday afternoon (shooting for 3:00 PM CST) with a ton of 1st appearances, "hot" books, and assorted goodness, featuring ASM #361, 298, a lot of the harder to find ASM 2nd series issues in high grade (1-18), MOS #18, Suicide Squad #23, and a whole lot more ... including ... Alf doing naughty things????:ohm

I'll also have a smaller thread n G/S/B highlighted by a lower grade ST #126, higher grade DD #18, and mid-grade Nova #1 and Ms. Marvel #1.

Hope to see everyone stop by! :wishluck::foryou:

Unexpected schedule change at work and an opportunity to be an extra for a movie shoot means I have to push this back -- looks like to either Monday night or Tuesday. :wishluck:

  7. Since then, I've sent numerous messages to the seller requesting my money back to which the seller has agreed to but cannot complete due to insufficient funds. He has promised to return my money but has not given me a specific date as to when.

He might be able to get you you money back if he wasn't buying books in other sales threads.

Hope you get made whole ASAP, Hector. :wishluck:

  8. Hi all!

For those that know me, I read some other (now locked) thread that I no longer sell here because I was tired of the 'beat downs' or something like that. For the record, I want to state that is not the case at all. I basically just got really busy in life with family and work and something had to give and it was comic book collecting. So for a couple years I didn't buy sell or even read them, I was out.

I am slowly returning and have clearly missed a lot. What I mostly miss are those 2 Batman Adventure 12 slabbed 9.8's I sold on the boards a long time ago! I thought I was killing it at 100 bucks or whatever it was.

Anyway, I'm back to selling but not here because honestly I have no clue whatsoever what to price things at. All these movies have changed the game considerably. But I hope to have a thread sometime soon when I feel more comfortable with the market.

But my point is, I never stormed off, got mad, or anything like that. Just focused on other things.

And for those that don't know me, which is probably most of you....Never mind!

    John

My 1st ever purchase on the boards was from you! A gorgeous slabbed Adventure #416. :cloud9: You were great and helped a newbie get his feet wet.

Good to see you back. :foryou:

  9. Just got my books in from my 1st purchase from Shootydog, and I couldn't be any happier! :cloud9: The books were even nicer in hand, the prices couldn't be beat, they were packaged securely, and he was a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended seller. (thumbs u

  10. Everytime I have a transaction with Robert, it is always a tremendous pleasure. He's great to talk with, his books are priced great, tightly graded, and packed to withstand anything that can be thrown at them. Truly one of the best sellers around here, and I always look forward to his threads. :cloud9: Thanks again, Robert!

  11. Just finished my first transaction with Casey, and I'm as happy as I could be. (worship) Books were tightly graded, shipped quickly, and packaged well. Plus, Casey was a pleasure to talk to about baseball and hockey. :applause: Definitely recommend him, and I look forward to doing business with him again. (thumbs u

  12. Just make it end. Take the return and pay for the shipping. You are not going to win this battle. And you will definitely lose the war.

That war is already lost. I imagine there's plenty of buyers here -- like myself -- who normally don't comment in this thread, but who definitely watch how people do business and adjust their own "Do not buy from" lists accordingly. I know I have done exactly that tonight.

  13. God I love when people post 5 figure books with no back cover picture and an image taken from like 5 feet away. You can afford the book but you can't afford a scanner?

My favorite is when it's on their store's website for sale at the same time. lol

And it's still my pet peeve when folks call it, "The Bay."

    Dan

    This will not bother you.

  14. Just finished my first deal with Dan (on a great presenting ASM #2), and I couldn't be any happier. The book exceeded my expectations, Dan was friendly and easy to work with, and the book was packaged so well, it could have survived being run over by a tank. (worship) I'll be happy to deal with him again in the future. (thumbs u
