Its an intersting question, personally i not search to obtain specifically first print but want to know if it can does a great difference on the price people are ready to pay for books. For exemple i have a second print of Batman 423, did you think there are a great difference of value comparated with a first print?

Hi guys, this is a recommandation for my favourite sellers, SPLAT COMICS from UK. Recently i I launched a search notice on facebook for Batman Book. Shortly after an angel came from the sky, is name was Darren Collett, he showed me is webshop "Splat Comics". On this place ive found my happiness. The choice is absolutely amazing. In more, im a very specific collecter and i collect only Direct Sales Edt, Darren took his time to verify for me each books that i wanted was in the good Edt. I does an order for 70 books, all without exception was in the indicated grade. About the delivery, i never received a better package in my life, this thing could resist to a war! The delivery was really speed too, under 2 weeks for international delivery is an exceptional delay! Definitly the next time that I would like to buy retail books, it will be here. and I advise you to do like me!

I think Detective Comics have maybe more "wtf" --script while Batman is more credible. And probably the principal rogues gallery appears more in Batman. But sometimes the 2 titles was connected too. Not affirmative just what i think.

Same for me, i analyse the entire series before to be sure i not have to sell my house (didn't have house but is for exemple ) to complet it

Hmmm... i think DC will never stop with this freaking legacy numbering, for me that just poor. They have to stop to live with the past! If they regrets to had restart to n°1 they just have to assume now.

Got a new copy of batman 635 with 8 other issues to continue to complet my run. The lot for 65USD definitly the best deal since i started to collect comic books.

If you want an idea i started from 0 in 2023 and now i get 285 issues (with almost all the keys included) i spent 1590 dollars that, i am under 250 dollars to finish. And more i live in Switzerland so i have to buy to international and paid expensive delivery. Considering that i think you can get the full run for like 1300-1400 dollars if you do some good deals. My best advice is to no be feared about buy some expensive big lots, often you see some lots with big keys included and a great number of other books, you do the math and realize the offer is always better. If you just pick each issues you will pay the real prices for keys and 3 for conventional issues, is too much... So buy some great lots to disgorge and after complete the hole

Never compare to others, its not because a guy get a more valuable collection than you that is better, the best collection is the one you build with the books you loved!

Remember my old topic about my batman 635. I have a buyer for it, i left it for 30dollars. Did you think i will regret it in many years? I imagine a lot of people had them in their hands a batman 232 (for exemple) at the time the book was recent and throw it or sell it low because is hurted and now regret it because the value have grow up. I want to say even in poor condition a valuable book stay valuable, and if batman 635 value continue to grow up an 5/6 examplar in 20 years probably cost the price of a 9 examplar today.
