  1. Beat me to it. This is what I use.
  2. Here and just type in the card name, What they have there will be a full retail mint or un-played condition price.
  3. Was this Mark D's show in Ktown? I was there ! It was a Ktown show yeah, no idea who the promoter was, I would have still been in high school at the time. It was a little hotel's little conference room and McFarlane had a table out front of the main con room. He was doing sketches on backing boards and had some xerox copy "prints" he was selling.
  4. I had a run in with an artist last year at Heroes that I dont wish to name. I have heard that they have some substance abuse issues. And had a bad experience with Fabian Nicieza back in like 93, that guys a 4 letter nick name for Richard. Granted that was a long time ago at about the height of his Marvel popularity maybe he's changed. Glad to hear McFarlane may have removed his tongue from his arse. I meet him at a little tiny show right before ASM #300 came out and he was so humble. did sketches for everybody sat and talked with people he barley had anyone at his table. Few years later after Spawn launched total FDQ.
  5. Doesn't look as horrible as I thought it would.

  8. Leave it as is! As kids, we didn't care about about the condition of the rack -- what was ON it was what mattered. I was tempted to oil the bearings on my spinner rack (identical to yours) when I got it a few years ago at an auction, but I'm glad I didn't -- to me, that memorable squeaking sound as you spin it around looking for just the right book is a big part of the nostalgia and charm! True, true. As I read your post I actually heard that noise in my head
  9. My Craigslist pickup of the weekend. Pretty sure it's not the original legs. The panels are in decent shape with some chipping here and there. Some of the wires are getting a little rust underneath. What do you think, should I repaint the wires and leave the paint chips off the panels for character??
  10. Fast shipping even during holidays. Great seller
  11. Linked here from a more recent thread this one seems to be more concise. Was watching "Gremlins" with my nieces last night and the main character was an aspiring cartoonist. When Gizmo first gets wet and the other gremlins start popping off him on the are a bunch of comics. There's a Conan and others. I didn't want to make the girl sit there while I rewound and paused to look at them all.
  12. I was absolutely appalled that I received my package from Greggy so quick, it was well packed and the X-books were exactly as described. He left me with nothing to complain about.
