Well,if they come back a 9.6 I was going to sell them.
I didn't see any color breaks on the BC of my books.Probably 9.2-9.4 depending on the rest of the book. Those tears are both about as big as the those tears get.I also see an additional spine tic. What about the back cover? Another drawback to this book is the dark back cover.
That's good. If you have even one break on the BC I don't see a chance at 9.8 even if the printing defects are minimal. On a side note, while I am a fan of SS
Books I see most collectors of the Wolverine series as blue label fans. I hope having them signed does not hurt the desirability of the books.

Hey,we agree on something
I did have them signed.Please don't have them...*gasp*...signed.BUHAHAHAHAHA
By Huge Jack Man?
No(I wish though)
I had them signed by Marc Silvestri.
I like Silvestri. He's my second favorite Wolverine artist of all time. Right behind Yu.
You better hope that's all we agree on.

I want to update on my copies of Wolverine #35.
I did have them pressed, and I had them signed & graded.
I hope to have the same results as Joeypost
I've been telling you for months to submit them because CGC would take the production defect into comsideration. So glad Sam told you otherwise.

I thought X-Men & X2 were great (X2 being better of the Singer movies)
Feel free to rant.I guess someone will start a speculative thread on xmen books nowThere are too many HG CGC copies of 141 and 142 out there.
Very unlikely to see any big jump.
I really think this movie however is NOT going to give us anything like those issues.
Since Bryan Overrated Singer is involved I already have it set in my mind this movie will blows balls.
I have my doubts, too, and I'm rather hoping they go a different direction from the classic story.
Singer screwed up Superman Returns big time
I'm glad Nolan is producing Man of Steel.

Agreed.
I think they have to get Wolverine in the sequelIf Wolverine isn't in it then I would say his creative movie genuis will be just as good as he did on Superman 2.5.
I know he is just the producer, but I am not convinced this is going to work out.
If there is no sentinels and old wolverine this just a complete waste of time.
Wolverine must get hunted by sentinels.
Anything else will just be stupid.

But, thanks for pointing out all the ugly points of my new pride and joys. I'd hate to hear what you say to new moms with ugly babies.
Were you an ugly baby Mike?

Death of Kid Miracle is worth 2 Grand.
Such a classic issue. Boner's arriving as I think about it.
Why did I send my issue to Rich?
CGC 9.8 is worth around $350-$400. If you sent it to Rich, then I guess you are looking for a Totleben signature, which pushes the price well over $500 (if it stays at 9.8 s/s). If you went for a sketch, and you got a good one, these have sold for around $1,100, if they held their grade (9.8 s/s & sketch). However, the Totleben prices will come down a little as he has now completed two private signings and will be attending Cincinnati as well this year.
As for a #15 CGC 9.9, well it is unique and sits at the top of the census so Ewan's estimate of $2,000 seems about right and his #12 9.9 should make over $500. I might have to sell one of my kidneys.......

IndeedIf you paid $2,000 for a 9.8 Miracleman #15, you'd be pretty dumb. -
WOW!!!!

That's awesome Chris
Very cool, congrats!Today I added 2 of the most important books in my collectionwhen I was 10 years old there was a comic shop on the East Side of Houston called Happy Trails and it was my weekly stop anytime i had money or when i just wanted look at old books, since the owner sold SA and GA keys there was ALWAYS something to look at. for some reason or another, the Owner took pity on this Shy new to comics kid and instead of letting me get sucked up in 90s trends he taught me about collecting and how to handle books ..
well last week he contacted my boss and offer to sell the remaining and Most loved books( many he bought off the racks) to him and being the stand up guy my boss is he allowed me to purchase 2 of these books
I dont think any books have ever meant so much to me
Thanks for sharing C-mack. It's nice to have mentors in this hobby to pass down the knowledge and history. Congrats on those two nice purchases.

I just realized I'm 24 years old.I just realized Primer 2 is 30 years old now.So that Primer #2 is 6 years older than me
