15,000 on issue #8 is pretty good number considering #1 was 17,000. I mean ..look at Clone ...

perceived rarity is what is driving the price. Unfortunately neither issue is of importance in terms of characters or story. Issues 129 and 8?? . I'll stick with my regular covers I paid $3 for. Same insides and I save $300

The first issue was very well written but the art sure is busy. I am happy there were very little advertisements though. I think I may have gotten my $3.99 worth out of this book.

Well each issue is under a microscope since we can only read 1 chapter each month (or sometimes longer)

I usually skip over HC's with no extra content since I have all the floppies. Prob up to the creator how much effort they want to put into it. The Sixth Gun deluxe was by the best one in recent memory. Some notable hc's coming this year: Saga deluxe HC with issues 1-18 (500 pages) retail $50? i would expect a ton of extra content Manhatten Projects HC containing 1-10 - (300 pages) $25 The Wake HC (256 pages) - $25 I bet his will have the directors cut stuff in it that was previously released

Agreed. There is a ton of build-up going on. My only fear is that the title is coming to an end. Has Hickman mentioned a set number of issues? Surely the end of the world can't go on forever... well whatever..great book. Nowhere near the end still planned for at least #50 issues last i herd. (thumbs u 50 or 60 sounds good to me

are there any extras in the HC? No .. Wish they had the covers uff that's kind of weak. For a cool book like this they really need to blow out the HC - mad extras, sketches, letter pages, covers..the whole shebang. I guess they are in to much of a rush to get it to print.

I would beware. The new MO is to release book, not say its a mini to sell more books, and then toward the end says it's a mini. and...I don't have a problems with this. The Wake and Trillium were better than any ongoing I've read in a while.

pretty crazy prices for Outcast being 1 issue in to the series.

Matt usually posts these books on his twitter/fb feed before they are released. I wonder why he skipped posting the sketch covers. That coupled with the auctions ending early...something doesn't add up here.
