  6. No one can contest with the books that Rich wont post… Can’t or won’t… either way But here is what I just got back from Philly, I was lucky to get these the first day… I came down with a wicked stomach flu which cut my weekend short… PS the bathrooms on the third floor… excellent.. most of the puke should be cleaned up by now. Savage tales 10 Boris
  7. So he's not a "close talker" then? That's good. Did he wear a puffy shirt? Anyway, you getting this issue signed definitely gives you "hand" over other Mad collectors here. Do be warned, though: Mads in CGC holders sometimes are subject to shrinkage. Dont worry I'll just tell my Fiancé that it’s larger than it looks? Like I have not told her that already.
  8. Mad 364, CGC 9.4 SS Larry Thomas aka The Soup Nazi emmy award winner (Only graded copy)
  9. Just got this guy back from CGC. MAD #364 Signed by Larry Thomas aka the Soup Nazi Larry said that he has never signed a copy of this mag before. He told me when he was signing it that the when he saw the cartoon version (Parody) of himself.. was one of his proudest moments of his professional career. He said that to be depicted in a magazine as iconic as Mad, was something he never dreamed was possible when he started acting. Funny, I thought that his role on Seinfeld and his popular saying "No soup for you" has become part of Americana. But he did not seem to agree. he was very humble, and a pleasure to talk to
  10. I hoped that it would but, I have no complaints, after all I was not willing to fly to the UK… (Although it would have been nice to have a pint or two there) …. I sent 6 books with Rich… They all returned 9.8s, not bad considering that they crossed the pond twice. All in all Rich gets an A in my book!
  11. I don't want you guys to think I'm slacking. Here's one. Really?? its like you waited for me to post than pushed my books under your ASM....

  15. Crud…. Just when I thought this thread might take on a whole new angle and get down to some real mudslinging, you have to bring lawyers into the picture… Thanks
  16. Great signature placement... Very nice! Thanks! I really liked the Golden Age feel of this cover and the GA feel Mr. Ploog gave to the Spirit recently. It just felt like the perfect choice! Now that you mention that.. . I could not agree more. Even the was the Swamp Thing is portrayed is very reminiscent of some golden age horror comics. A classic look and a great choice for a Ploog SS. Congrats
