I am just starting to get my FF's slabbed, this is one of the first ones I'll be sending.

HOLY SHNIKES!!!! Super nice book bro (thumbs u . Where'd you score that beauty??? My collection I've had for a very long time. This is simply the best example of any squarebound book I have ever seen. I would be scratching my head as to the reasons it was not sitting in a 9.8 holder. Yeah just barely enough to bring it down for the point deduction bringing it down to a 9.9 . It's so miniscule you can barely notice it and everything else looks super on this book So this book to me is worth the 9.8 grade. This isn't a big white tick mark that grabs your attention. I also lighten up the image of the book so people could examine more closely with better clarity on flaws. This book has very sharp corners and edges, I could either stab someone with it and/or give someone a nice papercut. Go check at the two 9.6's on ComicLink.com squashed spine on one, and how the other one got a 9.6 is beyond me as it displays ticks and dings all over the cover.They don't start deducting from 9.8 they start at 10. Just my 2 cents worth. Thanks for your input everyone.

You know, even seeing that, I'd still put it at 9.8 given the rest of the book and taking into account the gross inconsistencies I've seen at 9.8s on squarebounds -- some with ugly glue rippling etc. I suppose if it was consistent all the way across, I'd go with 9.6 as a technical grade. That corner is, I suppose, the real problem. I'd be really disappointed if I bought that as a 9.8. In regards to glue rippling, a book might appear ugly, but you can't downgrade something with a "bad appearance" as it's due to the way it was manufactured. Beautiful book! Where are you getting these? Recently purchased, part of your original collection or do you have a time machine? My Personal collection, however my time machine is for sale which only has 125,642 years on it the 8 track player needs to be replaced.

I have never seen one with such a perfect straight spine cut, and those corners look flawless. Looks every bit a 9.8 or better. If you decide to sell, you should do VERY well. I was stumped a bit, actually quite a bit. I was curious on the grading notes and called, they said the only thing mentionable was that it had rough edges??? I could shave with this book, not that I would. The back is snow white with sharp edges & corners all the way around as well.

Had this one in my collection for a very long time, just never graded it until recently. I really thought it would get a 9.8 the notes read 'Rough edges' I was scratching my head for an hour on that one, because there are no rough edges. Now I need to worry about the new bald spot on my head!
