    Ooh, I was close, my guess was $1200 if I remember right. I'm too lazy to look back though lol

     

    I actually think that price is a little low, even with the ungraded books I thought it would be higher. I thought this might be one of those auctions where a couple of bidders got crazy excited over the lot and bid it way higher than it should've gone for.

     

    I thought the same thing. I guess people wised up.

    done & done, but alas it's no fun, for in dollar amounts i bid the beginning sum of one; but my one dollar sum, that began as a thought in a post from a chum, was instantly declined without being read by this bum.

     

    I sent an offer too! however this dude got a price point limit on it which declines you right away if its not in the neighborhood of the $8,000... i believed my offer was fair too... kinda doh! i remembered this dude winning it for like $2,400....

    well, dont know why but i am back to looking for a 9.8 1st printing as the seller refunded my payment???!!??

     

    That happened to me yesterday as well! I won a #1 9.9 cgc first print and guy tries to pull a scam. He said paypal was holding my payment... They seller said

     

    "No it says that there holding it for 21 days or until you leave me positive feedback. Its weird because I have a 100% feedback rating."

     

    i demanded refund! im not getting scammed... (tsk)

     

    I just received an e-mail from a seller telling me he was refunding me because of a paypal hold. I gave him a call and he's shipping. Try to back out of a WD #1,2,3 deal? NEVER!! :preach:

     

    haha i actually messaged the guy that refunded my money and we worked it out. Chew #1 9.9 is on route! niice job with the WD #1-3 (thumbs u
