  1. Actually, I bought the loose cover because I have this complete copy but the missing corners and taped spine always bothered me:
  2. Picked this up yesterday. It's only the front cover. 2 pages down, and 62 pages to go
  3. WHOA! Let me take my 3D glasses off now. Amazing and congrats. Here's mine
  4. The first Spirit Section, I absolutely love it Frank (it's one of the few I'm missing from 1940).
  5. Beautiful copy. Congratulations!
  6. Tec 33 is my favorite Tec. Congrats
  7. One of my first major GA pickups perhaps. I also owned a coverless Batman #1 missing the last page years before I picked up the Tec #33. Magnificent book! This one was already posted, but it wound up in my possession years later. Here's a new scan.
  8. Really really nice. Wow, the cover is still attached. That's amazing for this comic. Did you ever think about erasing the pencil in the "A"? You dont erase anythign on mega keys I don't think my OCDs would allow that. Surely with a pencil mark like that, a very light going over with a kneaded eraser to lighten the pencil wouldn't be that bad would it? It probably wouldn't erase it, but it would lighten it slightly. Would that be so bad? Regardless, it's an amazing 3.0 and there are scores of jealous collectors out there must be an "A" thing
  9. post all your copies sir That's an amazing looking cover for a 1.0. Too bad about the brittle pages. I believe Kenny & Matt have a treatment to bring back suppleness to the pages. Since it's so low grade it probably would enhance the value. Thanks for the suggestion. I handled the book before getting it slabbed. Turned the pages with no negative effect and nothing detached.
  10. Of course, after declaring that they don't pop up often, a Yellow Kid newspaper appears on Ebay! This is a really early one, one of the first... http://www.ebay.com/itm/THE-YELLOW-KID-ORIGINAL-THE-WORLD-SEPTEMBER-22-1895-SUNDAY-COMIC-STRIP-/321023646626?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item4abe801ba2
  11. The Yellow Kid is my personal favorite newspaper page. I wish I could find more but they rarely pop up. The scan is only 9" X 13" but the page is really 17" X 21." Need the larger size to read all the little jokes. This thread has so many great pieces (thumbs u
