  1. Great thread. For years I've been wondering if anyone might know the whereabouts of Kevin O'Neill's art to the story "Tygers" published in 1986's TALES OF THE GREEN LANTERN CORPS ANNUAL #2. If anyone could point me in the right direction, that would be much appreciated!
  2. Being a huge Green Lantern fan, I had to acquire this page when I saw it on CAF. It's the first appearance ever of Sinestro in any format, from Green Lantern #7 p1 (Sinestro was not on the cover). I love the way they're facing off, the classic covers, the diabolical dialogue--it's all very 60's Silver Age DC. I'd love to pick up a classic Kane cover from his 60's run on GREEN LANTERN, so if any of you know if one is available, please PM me and let me know!
  3. Ivan Reis. His attention to detail is sick. Having seen some of his original art, I can tell you that his work is painstakingly drawn. Although quite skilled at capturing the human form (his Star Sapphires--whoa), Ivan truly excels in nailing down his characters' expressions and emotions. He's also been paired up with an outstanding inker in Oclair Albert, who brings out the very best qualities in Ivan's work. I'd also note that in an era where it has become increasingly rare to find an artist who can manage the month-to-month chores of drawing a book, Ivan has managed to adhere to a very tight schedule on BLACKEST NIGHT. This is all the more impressive when considering that almost every issue of BN has been an oversized book.
