  1. Hey! I forgot all about this thread. I was the one that posted about the Hulk Annual.

Your site is really looking great. I can see you have been putting in a lot of work into it. I think it has a very nice layout. Its very easy to navigate through and organized well. Anyway I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate all the work you have put into your site. :)

  2. I don't like holding my books when I read them so I read them on the bed too. It usually takes me three days to read one book because I usually don't stay awake long either.

This is good though because I only have to buy about 8 books a month.

  3. I just finished reading it and...

...completely disappointed though not surprised. When are we going to get back to a few shock and awe moments ? Surprise me. Tyrese at the prison was a surprise and so was what happened to him later in the story. Rick's hand loss ? Huge f'n surprise. Lori and the kid ? Abe ? Glenn ? Especially Glenn, all big surprises. Issue 130 was another step in that direction and meeting Alpha was a shock. Walking talkies ? Very cool. Issue #144 made a enormous statement. I'm thinking " major changes on the way " and it looked like it might finally happen. But no....the King Joffrey and Ramsey Bolton-like character, Negan, will not go away. When do the good guys win ? Complete bummer that this guy sticks around for another issue and we lose an interestingly mysterious character.

I've loved this book for years but apparently, it isn't about the good guys anymore. If the story becomes all Negan, all the time, adios amigos. Rick should've killed him. Dwight should've killed him, Carl should've killed him, Alpha and Beta ( though they're weirdos too ) should've killed him. How in the hell did Maggie not kill him ? I'm never shocked or surprised that Negan has become the focal point of The Walking Dead. Hopefully, the next Star Wars will be entirely about Grand Moff Tarkon. Sheesh

I feel the same way. It would be nice to see a strong female villain for a change. Why are they always portrayed as weak? Can you imagine what Negan fans would say if Alpha had killed him? He certainly didn't act like Mr charming when they met, but she refused to let anyone kill him. I am disappointed, but then again I think Negan is overrated anyway.

  4. :gossip: He needs poustal bouxes.

    Oh, for international shipping?

I saw the Niagara Falls location and figured he was going over the border to ship.

That would have been a good piece of information to include. lol

Niagara Falls!!! Slowly I turned, step by step, inch by inch..... :kidaround:

  5. Who will Negan kill on TWD? I don't think Glenn will be the one that gets it but I know someone has to (don't they?)...Or is it a big joke to constantly "almost" kill Glenn only to have Negan swing the bat (while the 4-5 of the main characters are on their knees in front of Negan) & the scene goes to commercial. Then it comes back to show that Maggie had jumped in front of Glenn and taken the swing. And Glenn lives ta fight anudda day....

    It could happen, right? :)

Two months ago I was pretty sure (or hoping) Morgan would be the one, but lately I have been having the same thought. People are getting used to seeing Glenn find some way out of impossible situations. This might lead to many people thinking Glenn will not be the one Negan kills, so the shock value still could be there.

I'm also not so sure that Daryl will be spared either. If the writers want to shock the most people then killing the most popular character would certainly do the trick. Just think how much hatred the audience would garner for Negan for killing their favorite character. This also helps Dwight to evolve into the character he is in the book.

Lastly, my guess is that the final scene for this season will be Negan swinging his bat but not showing who he decided to hit so we won't really know who dies until the start of next season. I hope I'm wrong but I know how shows like to end the season on a cliffhanger.

  6. I wasn't sure if they were going to go through with the Carl thing.

But they did, and that is awesome.

I think they pulled it off better than the comic version. The comic version was done pretty quickly whereas the show used flashbacks to dramatize the scene better They also made Carl's wound look more believable than the big, gaping, missing part of his skull page that we saw in the book.
