That's why I use a bulk submitter, to be honest.
This is going off topic but what is the benefit of a bulk submitter outside of maybe not having to submit 50+ cards for bulk prices?

Jee Su, is there any benefit to using in person? Do you still need to pay the submission fee?
The main benefit for me is saving on shipping and insurance to send to CSG which isn't insignificant.

I'm curious what has CSG been doing with the cards that warranted Perfect after the switch to the black labels until now?

I've done this twice in Chicago shows. There was never a line so don't worry about that. They don't give you any receipt that they took the cards so that is a point of anxiety until they actually enter it in the system although the second time the rep asked if I brought another copy of the submission form. Maybe he would've signed that as receipt if I had brought it? They don't bother checking that submission form matches cards or anything like that. Last show promised two week expedited turnaround but it took a full week for it to be entered and took another three weeks after that to get graded. During that third week I called customer service and they had no idea about the promise for two week turnaround. Other than that, same as mail in

Does anyone know for reslab of an OG green GM 9.5 to a GM 10, would we just send in the slabs as is and CSG will crack them and then reslab to the GM 10?
Yes that is what they are saying. For $5 until June.

I purchased a card from eBay that has the incorrect set listed on the slab. If I send this in to be reholdered, will the new slab be updated with the correct set?
They would have considered this a mechanical error in the first place and would relabel and reslab for you free. With this new label, I'm guessing you'd get new label for free as well.

I believe they have the subgrades on file, whether you included them on slab or not. So if they are 10/10/10/10 on file, it should be re-holdered with a Perfect designation.
Hopefully they will tell us what those were and let us decide whether to reholder. I feel like I might want to keep pristine 10 green over gem mint 10 black.

Related to this, if a card was a pristine 10 without subgrades, will it be re-evaluated during a reholder for a perfect 10?
-
I am curious with the new scale, when you reholder existing 9.5s, will they become 10s automatically since that is now Gem mint?

I saw quite a few dealers with CSG slabs the weekend at Chicago Sports Spectacular. But also there wasn't any line at the CSG booth.

Personally don't mind the label but can't ignore the haters as resale prices are reflecting that. I see HGA cards slabs sell for more than CSG on eBay and that makes no sense other than people must want those labels.

I've noticed that some cards that are photo variation short prints don't have anything distinguishing them in their CSG labels. PSA seems to either add an "SP" on the label or an extra description such as "Batting" or "Warm-up shirt" or something like that that helps distinguish the variation. Will CSG add something like this in the future?

Yes it is called USPS tracking and it shows me exactly when it was delivered to their facility. The problem is them confirming delivery and then taking a month or longer at this point to open and enter into system, then another month after being opened in scheduled for grading, I cant tell you what happens past this point as I am still stuck there.
The Confirm Package Delivery tool is a CSG tool that they acknowledge receiving your package not USPS. Isn't that what OP was asking about? He wasn't asking about the time after that for it to get into Submission Tracking which is the state my cards are also in. Unless I misread the original post. My cards were originally in the state where USPS said delivered but I had no acknowledgement from CSG, but once they confirmed receipt, it took away a ton of my anxiety.

That's 30 seconds times thousands so not quite what you say. Have you tried the Confirm Package Delivery tool as both of my packages have showed up there, the second of which was delivered 5/4 which I think showed up in the tool in about a week.

Is the "Confirm Package Receipt" on CSG's home page useful? I understand my order's not in yet, but I also don't see package received through this either.

What submission surcharge? But don't you pay extra to do to and from the bulk submitter unless you have someone local? I basically paid $13 per card all in when I drop off at a show.
