  1. I joined the club a little earlier in the summer - I was saving up for something non-comic related but made the switch when I realized I could and should. Still happy about the decision; still pumped!
  2. Muchos kudos to Arcade for the great looking X-Men that I got in the mail today. Loved the uber fast delivery. Thanks again Leon!
  3. Many kudos to branget for a terrific X-Men book and to G.A.tor for this slick new OSPG. Thanks guys (thumbs u
  4. Kudos to schlep for the very nice X-Men #50. Great communication, packaging, and book! (thumbs u Also, overdue kudos to ft88 for some terrific Bronze X-Men. Very happy with them. (thumbs u
  5. Finally, thank you ft88 for the very nice bronze X-Men! That's my haul - thanks for looking! D
  6. I just got back in town after a couple of weeks, which means... backed up mail full of comics! One step closer to finishing off this run, just need 2,3,5 and a couple random later issues: One of my fave covers: Random Bending - loving the back cover: Donald
  7. congrats Congrats I want to thank Andre (campued1010) for letting me take my time to pay off the book Congrats to you and Andre! Looking forward to seeing you post it, I would love to get a copy in that range down the road.
  8. A couple of recent pickups. Loving Adams' work on 60, though 32's motorcycle beatnik throwdown is certainly fun.
  9. Love seeing all these great copies in one place. I'm no member yet - my goal is to get one by December 21, 2012. Hopefully sooner.
  10. Big kudos to DrWatson for the terrific Paul Smith X-Men slabs. Great packaging and arrived very fast - even a southern snow () didn't slow it down. Thank you!
  11. I thought this was a neat modern since it was built off of an old Cockrum sketch. I had been waiting for one to pop up on the bay, and was the sole bidder, so there may be no general interest but I was happy to get it in the mail yesterday.
  12. Kudos to comicguy12901 for the great assortment of X books. Terrific packaging and communication. Thanks again!
  13. I am going a bit broader and just lumping the original run and the reprints together as the run I'm going after now. I know I'll eventually want both and that 1/2 the time the books I pick up are due to what I feel is a favorable price presenting itself to me. The rest of the time are those books that I actively seek out. My eyes are constantly wandering, though, and I'm pretty bad at picking books up that are outside of 1-93, whether it be upgrades to later runs, pretty slabs, or whathaveyou. The one thing I am squarely focused on is the grade I'd like to stay within for each era, and I am aiming to pick up 1-3 SA books a month depending on what's going on in life. Definitely not in a rush - wouldn't be able to be in one even if I wanted. If you miss out on a book, there will most likely be another book out there that interest you, which is great. Or maddening. I can give myself temporary boundaries to play within, but in reality there is no stopping point. Donald
  14. Thanks, yall - I had been eyeing various tens since I got back into the hobby last year. I'm really stoked about it! First time doing "price negotiations," so that was a bit of a learning experience.
  15. Here's my recent grab, I always loved the savage land stories.
