  1. Nothing submitted in September but one in late August
  2. My submissions have been coming back "out of order", but everything I submitted before October 2021 have gotten back to me. All Modern economy (25 books).
  3. ENIAC #2 scores are lower then the rest of the other 4 issues of the set. ie #3 CGC 9.9 is lower than #3 CGC 9.8 Adjusted scoring for ENIAC #2
  4. Doh! I still a 9.8 copy for the run...this book got expensive!
  5. Great series. Sitting on a bunch of #1s also.
  6. I opened a FEDEX account to have my CGC shipments sent back ground service which saves me a lot on shipping costs. I use it for comics only and I'm not otherwise aware of the shipping rates for cards...
  7. Agreed. That run was bizarre... but well worth the read
  8. I'm grading 2 copies of everything (1st prints) but I'm starting to run into books get I may not be able to get my hands on now. Only book I've back from CGC thus far is a single Eniac #1 9.8
  9. I came here to find out what Frank Cho is currently reading...
  10. He mentioned purchasing, aka what money does, but lets not try to get tripped up on semantics. You are totally raging. Or is this you being cordial and objective when discussing a 'stupid company' in a thread that is 'just more BS'? That's a lot of energy expended for someone who 'don't pay much attention to this junk'.
  11. No I didn't bring up money, the previous post that I quoted mentioned money, try to keep up. I also never really defended the company as I don't really care how Bad Idea conducts business, so don't make it a 'me' problem. As long as the quality product is delivered I really don't care what they do or how many fanboys they lather into a tizzy. Frankly the anti Bad Idea sentiment in this thread has gotten ridiculous, there are bigger things to rage about.
  12. Really? You are such a cynic to consider that there was no possibility that I actually like to READ and enjoy these books? For the record I have 2 raw copies of each floppy release that Bad Idea has put out thus far. That is it. Whatever they plan for the future will hardly impact my personal finances what so ever.
  13. WWH5 for me, first continuity appearance, I've been buying the variant cover for years. What if PH gets the bigger bucks because it had a smaller print run... I think that is the only real appeal there. Also, we had a massive worldwide pandemic recession and collectibles have sky rocketed so the old economic rules are on the out until further notice.
  14. What are the "far more damning statements"? And at this point why do you even care? Sounds like you pulled out your money and future interest in this company so just let the remaining interested readers continue on with the 'drama production' that bothers you so much. Obsessive stan indeed...
  15. These books are not difficult to get if you truly have interest. Independent publishers historically have not served up their offers up a silver platter the way DC and Marvel could.
  16. The short version? The company is not "closing", but more of a rebranding. The clues are are already presented in this thread...
  17. Then don't read the books and continue believing that this company is out to pull a fast one on you.
  18. That makes no sense. So when another comic collector/reader says "Yes the books, are good", you will refuse to believe them?
  19. You better send them a stern letter of protest. They may actually be able to quantify what 'eleventy-seven' variant covers would actually look like in a future release.
  20. Tawdry marketing? The last 30 years of comic marketing history probably should have made your head explode many times over.
  21. For everyone that is down on Bad Idea and any perceived marketing stunts, feel free to ignore the noise and not spend any money on this company's offerings. Just walk away. The rest of us are enjoying the ride and remain very cognizant that Bad Idea does not take itself seriously and neither should the haters. The comics (thus far) speak for themselves, not reading them is just doing yourself a disservice.
  22. I also have 8 copies of #1 in transit from CGC right now, all fresh 9.8s...
  23. Are those actual spine creases or just color rubs? If color rubs then maybe it is a fairly common manufacturer defect on that particular book that doesn't factor into the final grade?
  24. Paul sounds like a XXXX . That is a tone deaf response talking down to customers that will just tick off people more
