  1. Dr Love those Negro Romances are incredible!!!!!!!!!! I have only had a chance to get 2 & 4 but I am the cheapest guy in comics so I was not willing to pay the price. I believe I am responsible for getting them labeled scarce in Overstreet. I wrote to Overstreet begging them to put the scarce or rare tag on Negro Romances and the did it in the next price guide!

I will take any of them but the one that I really want is # 4 because some say that is Matt Baker on the cover wearing the hat.

  2. BOOT, great books! I believe you are the only one in the world that has a Sidewalk Romance!!!!!!!!!! I don't have any Negro Romances either. You are one of only a few people that have rare comics that I don't have. Between, you, eccomic, welcomebackpotter, esquirecomics, and myself, we may have the rarest collections in the world!

  3. There are some wild variants out there but this is pretty wild! There are a group of marvel comics that were put out by a Philippine bookstore, Alemar bookstore in Manilla, Philippines. They are entirely in English and the only difference inside is the ads for Alemar bookstore but this cover is wild. Everybody has seen a blank upc before but how about that blank upper left!? And what about the upper right side, MN 101. That's not suppose to be there! This is only the third one I have ever seen. The other two were Shogun Warriors 1 and the other was a Marvel double feature. Are they rare? Yes. Are they in demand? No because nobody knows about them. I understand there are other titles that exist. This is the only one I have.

  4. There are lots of other comics that have a lesser print run than Miracle on Broadway but you have to understand that practically the entire print run was given away to big shots in the entertainment industry and unless it was given away to all Nicolas Cage type guys, most of the people probably lost the comic or threw it away. It does not mean too much to me when I see a modern comic with a 200 print run because these were given away at conventions or something like that and they always turn up on Ebay. I exclusively collect rare comics and that is why I collect mostly golden age because most modern age comics are not truly rare but I was very lucky to find a copy of Miracle on Broadway which is a truly rare comic.
