  5. I respect what you are saying, but realistically we should all be able to police our own transactions without putting a time cap on deals. Lots of people do payment plans etc.

  10. Hey Guys, Of all the 100 pagers, the one that I need/want the most is a nice DC 100 Page Super Spectacular #4. Since I am a first issue collector, this has been on my want list for eons. I bought four of them back in the day, mostly through the CBG and all horribly overgraded; including one that I paid $100 for when it guided at $18 that the guy SWORE was perfect. It is my best copy and might pull a CGC 8.5. Do you guys think nice copies of these are out there? Greggy has a 9.4 and someone has a 9.2, when I checked a while back. Is it time to pull the trigger on a decent 9.0 and give up the ghost? I'd love to know what you all think. --Sean.
  11. Johnny, I am not a historian, but there appear to be an absolute spoon-load of these out there. I bought a lot of 50 online 4 years ago for $35. They were advertised as NM/M and they were. The part of the legend that may have merit is that they were never distributed at all. I have never seen any copies that have been handled at all. I bet if you create a thread asking the question, the folks in the know will let us in on the true story. Take care, --Sean.
  12. Who dumped all the Haterade in the 100 Page water cooler? You guys need to feel the love and somebody needs to sell me an undercopy of Superman Family 164.
  13. Kudos to Nick (Flaming_Telepath) for an undergraded, quickly received, Strange Tales #101, packaged to withstand an explosion. PS: Thanks for shipping the other book to Jonjesper as well! --Sean.

  18. In the movie "Detroit Rock City" there is a sweet scene in a convenience store with a spinner rack full of 35 cent comics. One of the protagonists then picks up one of the Marvel Super Special KISS Magazines.
