Your Very First GOLDEN AGE Comic!
Kevin.J replied to Professor Echo's topic in Golden Age Comic Books
I own lots of British GA comics from the 1920s, 30s and 40s etc they are stashed away somewhere in my rooms and not worth a lot as not many of the old time collectors are left and they never really transferred down much to the younger collectors the way US books do. I think this may be my first US GA book -
I have only glanced over the recent posts here, so sorry if I have got the wrong end of the stick here I just had a quick look at some scans, the earliest Spidey with a sub crease I can see is #148 mid 70s I guess without checking The earliest Avengers I have is King Size Annual 2 1968 I believe ...or some carefree kid just had them in his pocket Those are the only titles I looked at, did you need a specific title ? If you need any inside info, I can get it tomorrow if needed.

I think the Phil Silvers show is the greatest ever comedy show, I rewatched the lot again last year and it still stands up for the most part. Comics are tough to get here in the UK though, I think I am missing 10/18 or something and the Dobermans are even worse, I think I have 3 and I dont think any are stamped
