From what I've seen, at this point it's very time consuming to generate images,

Wow, the one I use which is in fb messenger of all places, kicks out images in seconds. Elmer Fudd meets Wolverine, make me a new comic book character, what would a great Wolverine cover look like? Blink. It's there. Not going to post them but they are pretty cool

    .and useless

  2. Hello from old New Guy. Question, promo says... 'FCBD BOOK free grading with matching label, expires May 5'

First, that is Sunday, and does that mean the books have to be sent in by May 5? The 4th is FCBD here, and that's pretty tight 24 hrs to submit. I'm hoping submit not mail, lol. I take it the grading fee is waived, but not pressing or any other service, such as shipping.

Any details to help me take advantage of this coolness , please let me know, asap😁

  3. Question, so I procured a couple new modern comics at my lcs. They are and look absolutely mint, under scrutiny, however, I did not open them and flip thru pages. I inspected under light and bl. Looks virtually untouched. If I buy a book in this condition, would it make sense to clean and press? I'm thinking of sending them in in this condition, without cleaning and pressing.

My thoughts are,, if it is mint, just handling it more has the absolute potential to lessen the quality through handling. And being serviced. Thoughts and advice please? (I also do not want to dig it out just to take pics, please imagine I'm your head, perfect condition, lol)

  4. With Ai now clearly responsible for watering down the Art world, specifically with Batman and Wonder Woman, Shazam and I believe PowerGirl, what's next?

One of the most confounding results is that Ai generated art can not be copyrighted.©

SO take those images, make yourself a bunch of prints and selling them on eBay will apparently be allowed. Values of these books, or I should say, any comic book created by Ai should be de-valued and or destroyed. Just my opinion. And how can we be certain that the art is Ai generated? Well, from Ai. Apparently knows it's work.

    Thoughts?

    (all just mho)

Yeah, in the latest issue of my fanzine I note in the market report how there are many great pre-code horror deals right now. In part due, in my opinion, to the recent frenzy in the BA horror area, especially HG DC material. Also, I hope it is somewhat of a "market correction", coming down from the balloon-inflation pre-code craze of the mid-late 1990's. Let's pray this continues to last!!! http://boards.collectors-society.com/images//graemlins/893crossfingers-thumb.gif

Hey, sorry, I'm pretty new, and I'm trying to learn from those that clearly know far more than I. I hope the questions don't bother you, soooo, what is the 'BA' horror area, and especially HG DC material. Pretty sure I'm knowing on the DC😏- just curious about the rest. I know there is a horror niche, and I've been reading about comics of war making a move too.

My collection at this point is small and wide variety, but not many silver or golds. Started chewing on spec books and have been doing ok, and I'm learning a lot here. Thanks for letting me babble.
