  1. I've sold quite a few copies of this lately. Down to my last few.
  2. To be honest? None. If people want to spend money on books that I consider silly, who am I to stop them? If I missed the boat on a book because of a movie appearance, I mostly buy bronze and earlier (40+ years old), so I can't really blame anyone but myself. Probably not a popular opinion, and I do feel sorry for young people trying to put together runs of books, but these days, every hobby is expensive.
  3. I found a black hologram X-Men 25 this last weekend. It's pretty beat up, which makes me think there is something to the idea that storage has something to do with it.
  4. Amazing Spider-Man 21 more issues between 187 and 306. At this point, I'm barely getting much in the way of completed arcs. Don't have many more of this title left. Highlights: #197 Always loved this issue. The return of Wilson Fisk, and Vanessa has given him an ultimatum. He has until midnight to destroy Spider-Man, after that, it's his crime enterprise or his wife. In the end, he's just an old romantic. #300 The first appearance of Venom speaks for itself, and I happily noticed for the first time, the issue I bought quite a while ago in the sellers forum was signed on the first page by Michelinie. 69 issues read in 2021
  5. Amazing Spider-Man 24 more issues between 138 and 185. Pretty much all Ross Andru now, but that's all right with me. I associate him with Spider-Man more than probably any other artist. Still missing a lot of issues, so I'm not getting much in the way of completed arcs. Highlight: I have a soft spot for the Nightcrawler, Punisher, Jigsaw story in 161 and 162. If I had more of the issues, the Clone story-line would have rated much higher. 48 issues read in 2021
  6. I was reading a review and in the comments, someone posted this one word: Seems like it may be plausible with following info: I think I like this idea.
  7. And if your car has the doors welded shut and a confederate flag painted on the roof, you can jump over a 60 foot chasm and keep on driving when you hit the other side. Every time.
  8. Amazing Spider-Man 24 issues between 58 and 136. My collection starts mostly at 100 and I'm missing a lot of sequential issues, but it's still been a fun read. I don't believe I've own a single complete story arc. It amused me that just about every issue, Peter Parker ends up getting pummeled/drugged/concussed until he's literally seeing stars. No concussion protocol back then? As far as art goes: Love me some Romita Kingpin! By far my favorite iteration. A lot of nostalgia in these early bronze issues, as they are some of the earliest comics I can remember. 24 issues read.
  9. My apologies to AlexH if he was planning on doing this, but so many people seemed to enjoy it, I thought it would be a shame not to have the thread again this year. I didn't keep track of my reading last year, but really enjoyed seeing what others were diving into. This is my year! Less than 3 books a day. Should be easy, right? Okay, so Alex did a really good intro last year, and I'll just refresh your memory: "For those that haven’t seen this before. This is a thread that challenges you to read 1000 comic books in 2021, and share your thoughts on the books you have read. Please note, this is not a competition. And anyone can participate. So, what counts as a comic book? I would say any standard 22 page comic would count as 1 book. A TPB would be whatever the number if issues are in that book. Anime would be a bit harder to figure out, but use your best judgement. Remember, it’s not a competition. Just have fun with it." Looking like January's going to be Spider-Man month for me.
  10. I don't know how this --script ever got the green light. I enjoyed Suicide Squad more. Having said that, I felt sorry for the actors. They did what they could and did it very well.
  11. I don't care what they say about 2020, any year that I can get Banderas'ed is a good one.
  12. Hey, I think I see my package that's in limbo!
  13. They lenticulared the out of this new batch.
  14. I was referencing the original white logo 3 pack. I should have been more specific.
  15. I don't know if they were in the specific ones that I saw, but I'm a masochist; so I tell myself both of them had it.
  16. I passed on two of the Wal-Mart Venom 25 3 Packs. By the time I realized the KT 2nd print was in them, someone else had bough both of them.
