Yeah I was never able to get any cool books until stable practice started you hit the nail on the head

If Chandler did a post like this back about 6 years ago the Thunderdome would of been going nuts .. but as i stated the community / family aspect of the program is no longer here

the video i posted is a facilitator @dscott who has about 6 tables set up for talent at the show in Dallas this weekend. SO he has his hand in both cookie jars ..taking your books and making money off the talent that sign your books. #merica

man I missed a lot this weekend! I have seen facilitators who follow the rules at cons and bust their asses while others do not even break a sweat and just pull CAW strings from an artist's table in their stable ... I just hope SS program doesn't suffer from the lack of respect they show. If I was a facilitator who made my livelihood off SS/Comics the combo of not following the rules / stable talent would drive me mad! @BeachBum is not a internet troll but he is a in-person troll... I ve seen it :

This is not about customer service .. if you pay the price they will treat you well this is about the SS community going from who can help who to who can lock up the most creators and charge the most money possible for a sketch/ and or sig. Facilitators you mentioned here don't play the stable game .. these guys grind at each show or with one off private signings to get amazing books done for their customers.

I totally get that I guess when I break it down the community that once was here is no longer even 1/10th of what it was in the SS community. I strongly feel that "stabling of talent" has caused this

Back before facilitators stabled talent you could ask around the boards for help and people where willing to help and get this........ for free or some extra paypal thrown in for a beer after the show -- I know crazy!!. I know I dont offer help anymore because I would have to deal with certain facilitators I choose not to give business to. I work with a very select few who I consider friends and have hung out with after the show. I also understand these guys need to make money but some of the prices are out of this world compared to what the cost actually is ...some guys are successful with out the crazy amount of greed I see now a days.
