Spend some money on Ebay for raw books and all will become clear (thumbs u +1 (thumbs u I was of the same opinion as yourself, why buy something you can't read? but like ckp1680 rightly says, i got sick of either sending over graded books back or selling them on for a loss, so i turned to buying cgc books. Not all collectors are grade conscious, but a lot of us are, so cgc is a safer way to buy books, if everyone graded strictly, maybe cgc might not be as popular.

Up early too huh? Always up early 'cause of the kids. Never get enough sleep generally. Won 6 Silver Age Marvels, mostly in 9.4 - nothing mega though. All those Rocky Mountains I was after, as you know, went ballistic in the last ten seconds. Yeah! Thor #195 RM, $ 1377 , too bad about the #171, maybe next time. So what did you win?

I agree, don't know how hard they are to find in nice shape in the USA, but they are like rocking horse pooh in the UK.

The creeper first appeared in March 1968, this book looks like October 1967, so not much in it, you could be right. By the way, that looks a very sharp FN.VF.
