This one is courtesy of pickycollector. Patrick did a nice job describing this one and was a pleasure doing business with -- he has a good eye for detail. The scans don't do the book justice as the light picks up colour differences in the masthead that one needs to squint at to see first hand -- and the whites are, well, just whiter.
Never seen that cover before, Nice looking copy. (thumbs u

Four Spiderman annuals from the collection i was lucky enough to purchase, 1976 is my favourite, taken from Spiderman magazine #1 1968. The others aren't to shabby either.

Something a little different, i managed to buy a job lot of 20 UK Marvel annuals, some of them are in the best condition i have ever seen. Too many to show at once, so here are the Avengers first. There was 6 dupes in the batch, which i would usually sell on ebay, but i thought i would give them a shot on here, do you think there would be any interest? any thought's would be appreciated.

I picked up all three of these off of Ebay from fellow boardies, all of which were excellent transactions. Thanks guys (thumbs u
I know it is hard to tell by looking at a scan, but Mr strict grader must have graded that Hulk #102, it looks very, verry, nice. (thumbs u

A Grail has been aquired!
This is a fantastic full-moon/nightime cover of a very rare Dark Age book. Irv Novick was truley a master of illustration.

Pretty copy of a tough book Bill
That is what i love about this forum, i have never seen that book before, what a great cover, makes you wonder if Marvel modeled their Black Knight on this?? just a thought.
Here is my book for the week, let the double entendre's commence.

Claim against customs if you have all of the proof. are you sure it was customs charges and not a shipping shortfall? $15 seems extremely cheap.
If it is customs and you do claim, be prepared to wait forever for your eleven quid back.
I must admit, i thought $15 sounded to good to be true, There was a white sticker on it, which i cut off and kept, and it had a load of customs jargon on it, i can't remember the exact words, will have a look tomorrow when i get home.
$15, sounds far too cheap, although I paid $185 for a book to be insured and fedexed to me from Heritage today, ah well, in for a penny, in for a in' load of money
$185? for 1 book? What was it?

Did you get one of the red cards through the door? If you did the reason (excess postage required or customs charges) would have been ticked.
No! Not red, it was grey, and it it was ticked in the not enough postage box, but when i picked it up the woman said it was to do with customs??
That's what it was then, don't even bother with customs. She obviously didn't know what she was talking about (thumbs u
Don't think i could be arsed with the hassle anyway, cheers Gav. (thumbs u

Was hoping a UK boardie could help on this.No date, comics inside(strips)
printed in Liverpool.Any value at all?Going to keep it as it has neat stuff like how
to plan a hobo party, beautiful colour plates, and the wife actually showed a little
interest!
I think these were a sister annual to the famous UK annual the Eagle, they can be found on ebay uk, this one is from 1958...i think, no real value i am afraid, cool to own though. (thumbs u
