Finally got around to reading the first issue.

The story is intriguing and original

The art is extremely detailed.

I feel the art is a little to busy and it detracted some from the story. It was a bit hard for me to keep up with everything going on in the frames. It was almost like a wheres waldo book. I felt like I was missing something unless I sat there and stared at every panel for a few minutes.

I am going to read the next 2 issues either tonight or tomorrow.

Anyways I promised Julio I would report when I read it so there you go.

TWD is the comic book series that got me back into collecting comics. I picked up the first 4 tpb's from Amazon about a year and half ago and read them all in like 3 nights I have since caught up and am now having my LCS pull the book for me monthly. It is the first book I read as soon as I get home.Currently we are at issue #75. Like many have said in this thread this series is consistently good. I have even got my brother hooked on this series and he isn't even a comic book guy, though he is a horror fanatic...

not sure if these are available at your LCS, but I picked some up thinking about you guys while at the TWD booth. Have 7 of them and they are free, but you pay Priority Shipping Flat Rate Envelope or First class. Claim one each if you'd like one. Sorry for the bad pic since it's from my cell phone. They about 14 by 24 or something and come folded. If you're LCS has them, then nevermind. Just thought I'd help TWD boardies out.
