So On-Site grading fees are different than regular grading fees?

Went to the Salvation Army a few times in the last few weeks. Found a nice Copper ASM, Power Pack (Spidey and Hobgoblin app.), and a Byrne Wolverine. Went again and found a couple Archies stashed behind some other books, got those along with the Marvels for 69 cents each. Also found an All-Star Batman and Robin TPB for 2.99. It has a cover price of $27 CAD so I think I did pretty good. Great read too.

I know this has most likely already been said, but I read posts like these over and over again and the posters keep saying "CGC says my grader/I got this wrong" but what we all have to understand is that CGCs grades are not law. They are a well-respected opinion. You don't like CGC? Fine, don't send comics to them!

Found a couple of Archie Digests at Salvation Army...

Thanks, some guy at a local con was selling the mostly original owner collection of his friend who is ill and needs the $$. The beauty of it is that the local market doesn't really appreciate these types of books so despite me not being there first, I was able to buy the most of the books. I wasn't able to pay for everything total (12 more books - ASM 31, 66, 68, 74, 75, 77, 80, 84, 94, 108 and Silver Surfer 8 and 12). Paid $3000 for the lot, which is huge for a local convention but will make back tons. The quality was so good for the late 60s and later stuff that I had to leave so solid 9.4 books. The person who was selling the books for his friend is aware of CGC, as he graded his collection a few years ago and got $380K for it. I hope to eventually get to the Batmans, Detectives, and Green Lanterns. Aw darn, I forgot to go to the Vancouver Comic Con... Oh well, it's bi-monthly, isn't it?
