  1. He said after he signed my copy, "this is my "OK" work and I don't understand why this is so important."
  2. I THINK it has to do with Diamond Comic Distributors - the company's revenue is $500 million last year. The numbers of comic books stores have been dwindled since mid-1990's as far as I remember. My dad tried to help me to set up the comic book store in 2006 after my son was born AND one week later, I was laid off (it was a nice gesture of the company). The first step started with Diamond Comic Distributors. They DEMANDED us to have a brick and mortar plus online retailer and we were required to order books and products at LEAST $425 a month that already killed us off. It's no further step for us after we found some small places no larger than 20' x 30' room but the retail space rental went over $9000 a month. It went FAR beyond our control. It's too late for us to start the business. For Brian as the comic book owner, I understood why he was frustrated. Not just the speculators who exploited the books. The corporations controlled him and his money. He may lose his passion over the comic books. HATERED already ate him up.
  3. Facebook never protects them from cyberbullies but cares for money. Wished that should not be filmed in a first place.
  4. I am sure that customer's water bottle. Matt brought nothing to the table. He checked my books.
  5. Yes, I confirmed it. He checked my books last Friday. The hours are 11-1pm per day for free evaluation. Last Friday I was the first person in the line - only five people in line. I am not sure about Saturday and Sunday that are usually overcrowded.
  6. The bidders may avoid to pay the sales tax on this book plus the shipping handle fees and BP.

  11. There are plenty to research. You can go to your library to pick up the most recent Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide. You can subscribe $10 a month GPAnalysis or GoCollect until you cancel it. Otherwise, you can check eBay sale history on the left column after you search the specific book. It will save you money while you do your homework.
  12. While I lived in southern California, I had Canadian Bacon and Pineapple pizza. Even though it was good.
