  1. Thanks man! Yep, #10 was a huge issue and my favorite all-time. So finally landing a page, and one that includes battling the foot in April's store...well, I'm When you tire of looking at it send it my way kind sir.
  2. Thanks. Yeah, Jim really does have a love for the turtles that I don't think even Peter or Kevin has. Sad to say for their creators. But Jim is da man.
  3. So, here are my two new pieces from Jim Lawson. This is the first time I have purchased a commission from Jim and I am a pretty happy camper. :tcool: He was super quick, great with emails, and the art looks even better in person. The Duo-Tones really don't pop as nice on the computer as they do in person. They almost have a ''copper'' tone to them. Enjoy. ''RTNY'' Leonardo And a normal Leonardo. :tgrin: And here is an older Dooney commission I got a few years back that I don't think I've posted before. Sorry for the crappy pic.
  4. Thanks. Yeah, Dan is my favorite of the Mirage greats and he always does quality work. And I've seen your pieces, they are top notch as well. Donny is next!
  5. Here is my latest piece. I'm in a Leo kinda mood lately so I decided to hit Dan ''The Man'' Berger up for my third turtle. Here is what I got: I love the freakin' pose he gave Leo. Very Ninja-like; Hehe. Anyways, enjoy. ( Sorry for the big pic, but I gotta show dem Tones!) My CAF: http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=858259&GSub=75145
  6. Man, seeing Kevin's layouts makes me really wish he was penicling this new book. I mean, I like Duncan's art but you can't beat Eastman, IMO.
  7. That would be $600,000 ...the art in that picture is the first Eastman & Laird Turtles drawing Wait, he want's $600,000 for that!? Gimme a break. The original art from the entire first issue only sold for $250,000. Sorry, it's cool and all, but that price is reDunkulous. He seems to overestimate the value of his stuff. I love Eastman but C'mon...
  8. New art day! Leo vs. Triceraton, by Peter Laird, dated 1987. I now have 2 80's pieces by Eastman and Laird.:tcool:
  9. Yep, Murph told me it was originally a gift from Kevin all those years ago. I got it off Jimmyjams.
  10. Thanks! Yeah , I sent him a few old school Laird pieces where I thought it best represented the turtles. I let him know I was in fact more of a fan of the comics. Therefor I prefer the gritty, bloodthirsty turtles. Ironically, he added the initial on the belt buckle. . But its cool. When I get the other 3 I want them all in the exact same style. His reaction was excited. He said he loves the turtles and he hardly ever gets to do them. So from the get go it was a good thing. I am hoping on adding the other 3 Turtles to Leo to complete my set of ''Van Sciver Turtles''. Should be fun to see all 4!
  11. Hello my fellow turtle fans. Happy new year! Just thought I would share a commission I just recieved in the mail, Leonardo by Ethan Van Sciver!
