  1. Thanks @austinhgbeen hunting it for ages, and now my batman new 52 with all variations is complete ( but we wont speak about the fried pie #50 superman joining cover sketch edition - since apparently it doesn't exist ), but i will keep an eye out there forever searching............
  2. thanks @austinhg I read about them acquiring the verification system, but havent seen any updates for a while.
  3. HEY GUYS, For my future reference, having looked on the census for this comic, there shows 1 universal, and 6 qualified editions for this issue. Its obvious these comics - which will only exist with Chris Daughtry's real signature. What do I submit this comic under- through the signature series or just general 'universal grade'?
  4. Definitely @AnthonyTheAbyss its on my hit list. Which keeps growing on a weekly basis.......but now i just typed 'hush newsstand' into ebay and these popped up. but they appear inexpensive to direct sales, which its usually the other way around. Looks like I'm hunting the whole hush line series again for the 3rd time. LOL
  5. In my endeavouring adventures on ebay, i came across superman 204 ( Mirror ) image of batman 608. Though I found the NEWSTAND version of superman 204 pushing over $1000US, compared to it's direct edition. ( obviously a comic on my hit list in the future ), though this got me looking a my hush run of batman 608 - 619. I could only find a newsstand of the original #608, ( my 2nd print had 'direct edition ), as did the whole of my run of the hush line. I've looked up to a full page of random comics from the hush run, and they all appear 'direct editions . Is this the case, the whole original hush run were all direct editions, except the original 608? I have found a few newstands 608, but they only push over $200US VS a direct editons value pushing $140.
  6. Absolute proof this comic exists........seems there is only 1 on the CGC census.......could be the rarest issue from the batman new 52 run. Currently listed on ebay......https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/126417019306?itmmeta=01HV7RFQ0K50RTAHCC9QPR2RVW&hash=item1d6f0aa1aa:g:sw0AAOSwQEtmEuWL&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA8I8YEedHmk%2FU%2BDy7sAkCpldXfliih1sQ7N85Uvk1Gx%2F9BuCeMrheKah3tzDnm99yZQEW3%2BYltjpnzMD4KdJxMiYPBtKaTL3Bw%2BgWUc1FTHkuaE2Vy9ui5Uunf%2FnbFE0AI0xVvBxAqpe564v1c9rk5lC14Jzy6ONPn6NX%2FLZNoeeVsbuogXq5pOgCytqxzxdQ4QXHYEsOQGW7Gdn8lG5Qio3BV1tOG1j5VFSPacZ0LemhhHp7ThB28wK4T%2B1pd%2FYu6%2Bo42Jx1DAnvSIKhrLZ59IL2J7YQ3dJd%2BbLDs5Wvq4owfk7u%2B10j5agK0qKc8wtwIw%3D%3D|tkp%3ABFBMsPC--Nlj
  7. like what you have just said @Paul Kosnik, I've pressed 16 comics and have boxed them up weeks ago, and will look at them shortly to see if there is any reversion. If they look good, off to CGC they go............
  8. i received my hulk 180 back in hand and used my torch at various angles, and i cant see a crease anywhere, but there is a wave in the rear top of the cover ( big difference between a crease and wave in my book ) that could do with a proper pressing, but since i just broke my pressing machine, i cant be bothered. I've listed it for sale, with the opportunity for the buyer top press it out and push it o a 8.5 or 9.0. I dont have the photo, to prove it before sending, but i know when i sent it, it was dead straight.
  9. Up for sale is my collection of first cameo/wolverine collection HULK180 CGC 8.0 + 181 + 182 + NEW MUTANTS 9.8 CGC 7.5. I have the item listed on ebay if your interested in purchasing it there....https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/135012694307 Contact me directly if your interested, and I.m not interested in separating this lot. More pictures of the comics are on the ebay auction. If you desire more photo's just ask. Asking price is $4750.00US. Shipment with tracking will be provided depending on where in the world you live. And will be shipped to have the comic arrive in the same condition it leaves me.
  10. I was joking on the 'auatralian' punt.., but were gonna double check this when i recieve it in my hand..........
  11. here we go again, like with my batman adventures 12, that had such a small issue............cgc state on the rear of my hulk 180 that i just recieved, they state - crease left top of back cover, crease top of back cover. Cant see nothing wrong,, Can you?,,,,,,,,,,,,,,looks friggen perfect to me. I'm going to go over it when I receive it in hand, and beak it out of it's case, and press the top of the rear cover, like it never been pressed before. I'd get it , if there was a visible crease, but there is nothing wrong with the top of this cover.......it's perfect, ( i know this because i pressed it and looked super close for any bends, there was not a bend, ding or crease), or is it CGC have something against Australians, and cant give them a good CGC score regardless of what they send in.

  13. yeah, I've seen three people on you tube use this brand, over the 100's of vids of comic restoration i watched.
  14. oh yeah, i have 1000 comics with STAN LEE signatures on all of them( all of a sudden ). I swear they're legit, i was there when i signed , opps, I mean - i was there when stan signed my comics. I like how CGC back themselves with they're signature series, by having someone from CGC witness the signatures. Now, fake signatures is one of the biggest scams on the planet. You only have to watch 'pawn stars' to see how they authenticate signatures. Firstly, they look with a magnifying lens app on they're phone, to see if it's live ink.............Well, wouldn't all signatures have live ink, unless they're a stamp signature. And then, they try and match up the signature to a known signature. Thats it...........boom, you have been authenticated. What a farse. I also have Abrahim Lincoln's signature on this old bit of paper that my great grandfather was there for.( joke )........ I feel, they should keep the yellow header from CGC witnessed signatures, and have a pink header for ones for being non-witnessed. But in saying that, there are some comics in existence, that were known to been released with signatures, you only have to look at spawn #350 THANK YOU COVER- with T.M signature.....oh, and I wasnt joking about my 1000 stan lee signatures......LOL
  15. i purchased a 'hangar 9' heating iron, and after it was set on low and its craddle ( to help remove some spine ticks ), i could smell plastic melting, and looked over to my heating iron, and the metal kneck had melted away from the plastic body. WTF !!! Anybody had this issue before?
  16. i'm slowly putting my 2nd lot of comics to be slabbed together, and came upon a feature for amazing spiderman 238. It come's with a stapled envelope inside, that contained stamps.? cant find any info about these stamps. Is this a common feature of this issue? thanks jacob
  17. just putting this out there...............wouldnt it be wise/smart for CGC to take pictures of the comics they receive, or like mechanics in australia ( not all of them, only high end mechanics whom record car issue, before they work on them to show the owner ), but record the unboxing of the comics and showcasing what they've recieved.
  18. clearly shows damage was occured by CGC...........OR DID THEY SWAP OUT MY COMIC FOR ANOTHER. obviously its not one of the most expensive comics on the market.......but we all know the difference between 9.6 value to a 9.8 value. And this is my first shipment of comics to CGC to be graded..............wonder what they'll do to my next lot.
  19. fair enough.........though before sending every comic , i took photo's of all my comics, and as you can clearly see, the difference between me sending it, and upon it being graded - the corner is near perfect. Yes, my comics were packaged 100% properly, and taped down hard for no movement. I cant seem to locate my cover photo the the'scruff section', but when i do....i'll post it here.........
