Great article, which expresses my sentiments exactly. Saga not withstanding, Revival is one of the most original books I've read in years. Unfortunately this is the same thing that happened to Fables with Once Upon a Time. For me, that was a deal breaker... This is just icing on the cake... I hope someone has the goose eggs to challenge ABC sooner rather than later. That creatives would work for them blatantly ripping off other creatives is horrible. They deserve a little bad karma... This kind of behavior is probably why they are #3 in "free tv" rankings. Just above NBC, which doesn't even try...

agreed. Image #1's were the things to pick up last year, not this year. There are no SAGAH's being released this year. I disagree! It's a little premature to state that somehow Image is done releasing quality books/stories. Saga IS a GREAT book but it's not the ONLY good book out by Image at this moment nor does it mark the end of great books for the coming year. At least there is a company out there that not only cares about the quality of the stories but also what they choose to print the material upon.

^^ ^^ ^^ I disagree. Some of the series that I buy on a monthly basis were books that I didn't start getting into until the buzz started. It's similar to a show that has a small following and takes awhile to build an audience. That sounds like me too... I can see it both ways. +1

IMO.... limits are a bad business practice. I'm a paying customer, cash in hand, right in front of you ready to buy a product you are offering to the public. If you insist on a limit, put a sign up saying "LIMIT ONE" or adjust the price to keep someone from buying a stack at cover. If someone told me to put them back, it would be my last visit to that store. I can't stand lazy store owners that don't track the market and when you get to the register have an epiphany and say, "Oh yeah, I need to mark this up" or "Oh yeah, you can't buy but one of those." I would be like, "Oh yeah, I forgot why I would rather buy from someone I trust online..." (thumbs u completely agree!

1. Anyone that orders via Previews understands that there is a reason why they solicit 2months in advance. Printing presses are not available on-demand. 2. Being in Business by definition means you are in the act of generating money. 3. See #1 4. Just like ANY market, there will always be those that act and those that react. I don't know. If I were a LCS that is marketing a "connecting" comic with my Logo, why would I want to print more of one then the other? Don't I run the risk of irritating some collectors that will never "complete" the image? Sorry but I just don't see it happening...

I agree but with raw books going for over $1k this is not a bad deal. Typically, new "raw" books tend to sell for 9.6 prices...

Daredevil #21 - 1st appearance of Superior Spiderman, comes out today Really? This counts? It's just single panel where he's all in shadow. It's a pretty funny panel though. Technically, it should hold as a 1st appearance since it's not a typical "cameo." We just see him in shadow....He's obviously in costume, we just can't see the details.
