    Hi @lollyclown,

Thank you for reaching out. There is not a cut-off date for the Free Comic Book Day labels. As long as they are the books from FCBD from this year or previous years we will be able to give you the label. I hope that helps!

Please let us know if you have any questions.

    Thank you,

Thank you! Gotta get my TMNT sent in!

  2. I've picked up several of the Free Comic Book Day books, and read the news release and articles that CGC is providing FCBD labels "for a limited time" but can't find what the deadline actually is to get one of those labels. I've got numerous books heading in for various signings so I'm trying to juggle around when to get regular graded books in between those.

So many things, must have them all!

Slightly blunted corners, slight edge wear with slight color loss along top edge, small bindery tear at top, a few color breaking spine ticks.

    IMO...

Yeah, kind of what I was calculating, but I'm not the greatest at it yet so thanks for the second opinion. It looks very nice but unfortunately has a lot of very small imperfections that add up, and not stuff a press or clean and help with. I might submit it anyway, because it's iconic and getting two iconic sigs on it would just be a cool addition to the collection.

Congrats! Does anyone know when Dan Scott will be doing signatures?

I have a book there getting his signature as well, and he apparently has signed it and it's moving into the grading process so still six or so weeks for mine anyway so I would guess probably about the same. Seems like his signatures were a lot slower than Ramos and Delgado.

Thank you! Would have helped if I had read that announcement. :$

I would contact them directly to see if it's an option, but if you are also waiting on it to get signed by Austin along w/Claremont, based on my recent interactions, at best you'll lose the Austin sig and they'll move your book to this one, or if it's already in progress with the other one, I personally doubt they'll give you any help. I have a book there, physically at their building that allegedly just began the grading process (absolutely nothing in its status suggests this, it hasn't even hit an update that it's been signed just shows it as received) and was told that they can't keep it there for the Dave Michelinie/Bob Sharen signing which has a deadline 6 weeks from now, which is what they told me it would be for the book currently. Despite all that, and it being there WHEN needed, they said "well hopefully it gets back to you in time to throw it right back in the mailbox and send it back in. Go ahead and fill out the form."  Even offered to pay extra for a fast track on the grading process, they apparently don't do that for sig series. Why? Who knows. I've never encountered a company who was so against me giving them another 200 bucks.

Was delayed i thought, as they said you could upgrade to that one in a press release.

How would that work? Austin isn't part of the other Claremont signing AKA The Wolverine signing, and they haven't moved him into that group due to the delay. After the response I got regarding trying to get something into another signing I don't really see them doing anything but saying good luck we hope your books get back in time and send them in when you get them.

Bit of a tough one. I'll say 8.5. I can't imagine it lower than 8.0. (shrug)

Thanks for posting. Nice copy regardless of the tear/crease and chew.

That's better than I assumed, and based off what I've read on the boards you seem to know your stuff. I'll be submitting this soon and I'll definitely post the results here to add to your score in the grading competition!

Regardless of the grade it ends up getting though I'm really happy with this book because it just looks so nice and I've been after it for a while and found this copy for an incredibly low price.

  8. Never thought I'd actually be able to get this book signed. Got it for an extremely good price, well under FMV. I was really stoked to get it at a decent grade with an intact spine, really difficult to find with this book. On top of that, it's never had a press or cleaning so I'm sending it off to Avery prior to submitting. As it stands, there's only 43 signed series copies of this book out there! 5 copies at a 5.5, 0 at 6 and 5 at 6.5. I've been building a Dr Doom vs Everybody collection and this is my (attainable) crown jewel. Getting this signature is a dream come true.

And even more bonus, I have the ASM 700 Skyline cover (one with all the artist/writers names on it) there for the Slott)Ramos/Delgado signing and I'm getting that tagged by Thomas as well!

Sorry for the babble, most of my real life friends aren't into this aspect of comics!

Typically I've gone with the it has to be there by the deadline date. Though I have had issues a few times with the Post Office not getting it there before then, and they have still accepted them if they were close. On sig series stuff, instead of the regular customer service, I typically have way more luck getting timely answers by emailing the Sig Series team directly at signatureseries@cgccomics.com. They are usually much better at answering then the customer service. And since what you are asking about it a CGC In House Signing, it follows under them.

Thanks for that advice. There's a lot of info regarding CGC and I hadn't stumbled across their direct email for the signature series. Thank you that helps quite a bit!

  10. Yeah, tried but no response yet. Was hoping someone might have a little more info that is done in the past, but I'll just have to be a little more patient I guess. Heard it's a virtue or something like that haha

  11. I have a question regarding deadlines. The upcoming Ramos Delgado Slott has a March 1st deadline. Does this mean it needs to be at the cgc office by March 1st or a completed purchase of it on the site by March 1st?

  12. Is there any idea of when the small signature series shipping kit is going to be back in stock, or if it won't be till it's too late to get them for the Ramos signing? I know you don't have to use them but it's the first thing I'm sending into CGC and I'd kind of like to use the official ones, but I also don't want to keep waiting if it would take too long before restocking to get them to get my books in in a timely manner.
