  1. 36, I didn't really seriously buy GA until a few years ago, with the except of Little Lulu which I have been buying for a dozen years or so. I used to buy mainly B/W Alt type books (still do, a bit). Never really got interested in Silver.
  2. What are the insides of those books like? Are there a lot of comics, or is it mostly text, puzzle pieces, photos etc? Would you consider them a comic book or a magazine?
  3. TM Maple was Jim Burke. He passed away a few years ago. He used to do some self-publishing and wrote some stories for Allen Freeman among others. He stopped sending off tons of LOC sometime in the early 90s, in part to work more on the small press stuff.
  4. Props to finecomics for a good trade deal for some of his sets he was offering. Well packaged and easy to deal with.
  5. My typical low grade stuff, but I love the cover and the price was right (the LCS has 50% back issues the week after Christmas )
  6. Thanks guys. I was happy to get a Lulu #1, one of the bigger holes in my collection until recently. Got it for a reasonable price from a fellow Lulu collector who upgraded his copy. The purple cover really makes every little bit of spine stress show up. Still, I am really happy to have it. Now I just have to wait for my FC #74 to show up ...
  7. Nothing super high grade, but this is the stuff I collect. and the back cover as well Plus a Christmas book that I posted in another thread but oh well.
  8. Thumbs up to Chrisco37 for a good deal on some nice trades. Fast shipping and well packed. Thanks!
  9. That is one of my favorite Archie covers.
  10. Did Fagaly do the inside artwork as well?
  11. Ah, Tijana bibles, the original mini comics. Seems to me that Archies comics were just begging to be put in these
  12. Very nice book, but how can Batman see? Where are his eyes? Man, that is a bright book. The red is blinding.
  13. My meager contribution, here are some John Stanley books I picked up at the Chicago Wizard convention plus a Plasticman I got at Heritage. Nothing very high grade but I am happy to owe all of these
  14. Kudus to Flying Donut for a recent transaction. Great service, accurate grading and well packaged
  15. Same as silverandbronze, Cartoon character glasses.
  16. Three more transactions with Lighthouse. What 'House occasionally sometimes lacks in speed he more than makes up in good deals, nice packaging and spot on grading. My favorite forum seller
  17. I told you! I know a lot of folks were telling themselves I was full of it, but that book is the BOMB! Every time I flip through it "just for a minute" I wind up reading it for an hour. Every comic fan should buy that book! I just wish I had more to sell... No lie, my highest recommendations. It is like the Trouser Press Guide for comics. Amazing read. I find myself disagreeing with much of what is written but that is half the fun I guess. My only complaint, why the heck no mention of Little Lulu Well, that and the guy dissing Sandman Now I need to hunt down a copy to give to my best buddy as a Christmas present.
  18. Books arrived yesterday Lighthouse, thanks. Great deal. The Slings and Arrows book I couldn't put down, working on 3 hours of sleep because of it
