  1. And perhaps more importantly for those of us who also collect C Ware's art, there's an exhibition at Galerie Martel (preview list already available). https://www.galeriemartel.com/chris-ware-2022/
  2. After winning the "Grand Prix" in 2021 at the comic festival of Angouleme (most important festival in France) there's an exhibition consecrated on his work there now for the 2022 edition "Building Chris Ware". https://www.bdangouleme.com/chris-ware-grand-prix-2021# https://mailchi.mp/fbe0a7870a80/communique-de-presse-fibd-2022-chris-ware-8997159?fbclid=IwAR1Lt89GqSucBiGH8kwRLKtVj-abXOnfCYVntfjX57oISicZgqtUSpoaX2I Images from Benoit Peeters (author of "Chris Ware. 11. Not really a commission but a convention sketch, but really glad with this one. Guarnido and Diaz Canales on the "tirage de tête" (similar to an artist edition) of Blacksad.
  12. For me also J Bastian (amazing Patreon, but the best tiers are full). Kevin Huizenga (great!) and HEK Studio (not a success).
  13. They are! The Gir/Moebius section is also very impressive and the Peyo, Uderzo, Hergé and Franquin pages… Not to mention the Frank Miller art… The video showcases the McCay pages quite well. Those pages alone are reason enough to visit the exhibit.
  14. Copyright was the answer I did get from the press officer (it was forbidden to take pictures at th exhibition, but finally I got the approval, but not for sharing online). btw I would recommend to watch the video too...
