  1. It's clearly unacceptable and you deserve to get what you paid for...period. I hope they do the right thing for you.
  2. I am very into the show and finally caught up last night on the last episode. I'm really enjoying the build of the show and how it is going to lead into the movies. I guarantee Avengers 2 will be very tied to it. It's a TV show and not a movie so im more understanding on how things take time to take shape.
  3. I feel your pain man...I really do. I honestly just try to forget about books I submit to CGC. For me, onsite grading is the only way to go with CGC. I'll be doing it at Megacon next year once I get another stack of books I want to sub. Best of luck with the safe return of your comics.
  4. 1. I figured boxes meant they could be any number of different sizes. If it's long boxes people are referring to...ok, they didn't take in a hundred boxes. 2. I'm not rooting or pulling for one over the other at all. Do you see my registry? Go look. Those are all CGC comics that i've spent my hard earned money on. I am pulling for CGC to succeed as well as the other company. Two can live in this market and survive and I can like/use both companies. It's not a crime. Back to the OP, if you want fast turnaround at a con, wait until onsite grading. Pay the premium and you get your books back that weekend. Other than that....pick your poison and wait the time it takes to get the books done.
  5. the other guys emailed me on monday that my submission was received, in the system and in que. Granted I paid for the higher end tier but still. Same with me. Back on Monday and in safe for grading. If they can do it....why... ah forget it. Yeah but did the other guys take in 100 boxes of submissions? I don't know or have facts to back it up.... But from what I saw and heard, they had 5-6 people deep on Thursday morning subbing...and it didn't let up on Thursday. I subbed 12 books and I was told they took in record submissions. So I would think yes. If you think the other company took in 12k books during NYCC, you're smoking crack. Come on. How would I know it was 12,000 books subbed? That info was posted after my post so I didn't say they did equal it. I would guess the volume isn't the same only because the awareness and trust isn't close yet due to such a short time in business. What they are getting is impressive to say the least. The question Beachbum asked me is if they took in hundreds of boxes, I still think they did but don't think it's equal to what CGC gets. Make sense? And i'm sure if you were at the show Beachbum, you saw plenty of the other guy slabs on many dealer walls. I think acceptance is pretty good considering and since it is your business...i'd imagine you have your eyes open about how they are selling too.

  8. I think I would trust Tony's advice here.
  9. Morgan never died. They left him in that apt where he was all alone. Rick never killed him.
  10. That's an awesome piece to own! I've looked at that cover since I was 9 years old over the years. Good for you man!
  11. Wow. That's all I can say. I can't wait to get a Granov commission one day. Thank you! I am so in love with this piece. Seriously it's more stunning in person. I made some prints of it last night. The original is well hidden away in my portfolio and the copy is on my wall.
  12. Had this made at NYCC by Adi Granov. He's my favorite artist of this generation by far.
  13. One of my favorite covers of the run and great sig placement.
