  1. You know come to think of it TBP, I've/we've never seen your OA. (I don't think) So let's see yours.... See what happens..... POST IT TBP!
  2. I was going to say. I thought you were guys were just talking about that one but you thinking no because you're not so much a Gambit fan. Congrats Mark!!! I still need to pick up my first piece of OA... Thanks! Let's just say if Iron Patriot wasn't on the cover...I wouldn't buy the art. But it is an awesome cover for an Iron Man fan.
  3. I bought some CAP Trades from Dan and all was great and he also bought my Walking Dead slabs and paid right way. Excellent in my book! Marc
  4. Well then he's cool in my book. I need to check him out now for sure!
  5. YUP! Just sitting there. I was actually going to buy it. Was talking to the owner of the LCS and he told me about it. Then just recently I thought of Marc, so I told him. Come to find out that Marc already knew about it. Just took a little nudge from me, I guess, for him to get it. It's an amazing piece. Yeah and what's even more amazing is that I thought about buying it weeks ago and then didn't like that it was Gambit (which I know nothing about). So, I forgot about it. Then Retro mentioned it the other day in my WD sales thread. I still wasn't thinking i'd be into it. I went to the LCS today to check out a FF5 they have and instead I saw the cover again....I looked at it again and then just had to have it. Retro definitely influenced my decision by putting it in my head but upon second look it's killer! Here is a picture of Clay Mann with the cover when he brought it to the store back in September this year. I blocked out the other person (store owner) in the picture because I don't want to post their image without their permission.
  6. Thanks! I owe Retro a big thanks because he reminded me that this cover was still available. My first cover!
  7. Two new Adi Granov pages from Iron Man Extremis. Adi is by far one of my favorite Iron Man artists and the Extremis series was excellent. I'm really happy to own these and I want to find more Extremis pages.
  8. Hey Comicdey! Thanks for the shout out and it was awesome to be involved in the deal for you. I think it's a special copy and haven't seen many copies that look this nice in 5.5. Not one bit of Marvel chipping and the edges are crisp. Now, i'm posting some of my pics of YOUR Hulk 1 because your scanner blows. Enjoy it bro! I almost couldn't pack it up and ship it off to you...it is really sweet [/url]
  9. A decent TV show? Have you seen the ratings for WD? According to a recent Entertainment Weekly article "• The Walking Dead is 23 percent bigger among adults 18-49 than NBC’s Sunday Night Football (8.4), which is broadcast’s top rated weekly telecast. • The biggest entertainment nowadays is CBS’ The Big Bang Theory (7.7), which has more viewers than The Walking Dead. But its demo rating is nowhere close. • You know ABC’s Scandal (4.8)? One of the biggest hits on TV, right? Well, The Walking Dead doubles its rating. • In fact, The Walking Dead is about equal to almost five episodes of CBS’ The Mentalist (2.3). • And seven episodes of NBC’s Sean Saves the World (1.5). • You can fit about nine episodes of The CW’s Arrow (1.1), Comedy Central’s The Daily Show (1.1), TNT’s Franklin & Bash (1.0) or HBO’s Boardwalk Empire (1.2) inside The Walking Dead. • Or roughly 51 episodes of Fox News’ Hannity (0.19). Okay! I feel like you get the point. It beats everything." What do ratings have to do with my feelings on a show? I thought you meant decent in terms of popularity equating into value for the books. If you just feel the show is decent, that's fine. I'm not hyping it up as I think the show has been a bit boring lately. I didn't watch Sunday's episode yet but if this were the first two seasons....I would have watched it already. And, whoever mentioned Jersey Shore....horrible comparison. They didn't have ratings like WD...not even close.

  11. Right?! I finally got a Rick/Walker page!!! Congrats Retro!!!!
  12. Awesome room! Show us the new room when it's set up
  13. I also check both places as a buyer. I tend to refresh the sales forum a lot more throughout the day. It's a sickness.
  14. Personally, I think the boards is the best place to sell. No hassle of dealing with eBay fools, negs and all that other nonsense. Plus, the 10% fee on top of what you sell. I always give the boards first shot on all CGC books. If it doesn't sell, most of the time it goes back in my collection or i'll list it on eBay. Trying here first is a win win...and no risk scenario.
  15. I think the timeline is about 2 years since the zombie breakout.
