  1. Sounds like an auction house might be the way to go. Any recommendations guys? In the past I have dealt with Profiles in History on other kinds of items. Do they do comics?
  2. Thanks for your feedback. This has been very, very helpful as I start this journey.
  3. What do you guys think about the idea of selling it all as a package deal or several package deals compared to single issue offerings? Just curious because some of the Batman, Superman, Brave and the Bold, Blackhawk, Doom Patrol, Sea Devils, Justice League, Challengers of the Unknown, Flash, Green Lantern, S.H.I.E.L.D, Dr. Strange, Tales of Astonish and of this era don't seem to be too much in demand.
  4. Yacht and Cabo, I wish. I find it sad to think these things end up in a slab and inaccessible............ I put the Spidey back in the box but the next time I take it out we can discover what that message is all about.
  5. Did a quick dive into the Collectible Insurance info. WOW............. there are a lot of companies....any recommendations?
  6. As a kid, I just happened to be at the right place at the right time. Beyond these #1s I have dozens of early random numbers from this same time period. Had to get my weekly fix.
  7. I'll PM ASAP. Your so kind to do this for me. I've considered getting them graded but I've not overcome the fear of loosing them in the mail. Yeah, they are not in the best of condition but I figured they still had some life in them.
  8. Thanks for the feedback. I bought these from my local market newsstand the day they came out. I've kept them ever since.
  9. Sorry it took so long. Here is a sample of their quality. Fantastic 4 is the roughest of the bunch. What do you guys think??????
  10. I can understand how this can happen regarding how people describe the condition of their comics. The comics in question are actually in better shape than the one you posted. They don't have any wear and tear except for the date stamps, which why I thought I would ask about it. I really appreciate the feedback and when I get a chance to get to my safe bank deposit box I will post photos.
  11. OK, thanks. Finding copies that have not been read at least once must be really rare.
  12. Sorry but I don't remember the exact dates other than they are very early 60's dates.
  13. I have a handful of silver age marvel comics including stuff like Spidey's first appearance and The Fantastic Four #1 in really good condition (read once and stored) but they have a date received by the news stand on the cover. Any idea how that affects the value because I'm think of selling some of these guys.
