  1. Thank you again, customer service and response time has been great from you guys, it has been some of the best I've experienced.
  2. "Choose your own adventure" also made its debue in this comic 😅 I was talking about the 2nd page, its like a Hyperactive child drank Doctor Frankenstein's secret stash of cool aid.
  3. Everything great about Golden age comics in one page
  4. Yes it lists origin only, thank you for the reply.
  5. Yes. I feel like Fawcett comics in general needs an overhaul when it comes to the 1st appearance listings in your database, examples issue 80 is the 1st appearance of the Surrealist Dimension and issue 84 is the 1st appearance of the Surrealist Imp. I know Black Adam is popular in modern days but he was nobody character that just happened to appear in a 1st issue, there are a lot of characters that made more of an impact then him back in the day that aren't even mentioned on your census.
  6. Origin is not the same as first appearance.
  7. He is a Japanese Super Robot in an American comic book from 1947, I'm fascinated by this, compare him to Gigantor or Pluto from Astroboy he looks like there long last brother, also the battle he has with Captain Marvel in his first appearance is epic, him and the Big Red Cheese do the Superman Doomsday punch from Death of Superman on each other.
  8. Also why did I get a invoice with my order that says I need to pay $40 dollars? I already payed for the pressing and I already payed for the grading what is the $40 charge for?
  9. So I'm kind of disappointed, I picked up an already graded copy of Captain Marvel Adventures 78, decided to resubmit it, my main reasoning was to finally get Mister Atom a 1st appearance listing labeled on the book, I wrote two separate notes ( one on the invoice and one taped to the book) requesting this I then talked to a kindly representative a few weeks in and asked if the first appearance could be noted, I just got the book back today and it still says nothing, Im very disappointed that typing "1st appearance of Mister Atom" into a computer was beyond the $100 dollars I spent on this service.
  10. So I received a shipping notification a few days ago but when I opened the PDF invoice it was lacking a tracking number I also have not been charged for shipping, is this normal? This is my first submission so I'm clueless on how the process is supposed to go.
  11. Does CGC grade oversized Marvel UK books?
  12. Okay I get that but how do I get cgc to note on the label that the comic was part of Harlan Ellison's collection do I send them the certificate and add a note asking that they add his name to the label or is there an official form?
  13. I recently purchased a copy of the Marvel Family from Harlan Ellison's personal collection, I don't see a pedigree listing? how do I submit this item?
  14. @Bart Allen it's vol 1 issue 9, it's the reprint of Captain Marvel Adventures issue 81, I'm a huge Mister Atom fan and the way the cover is colored it looks like a fireworks wrapper, I love it. Thank for all the great links @Get Marwood & I Thanks to everyone for the help
  15. Hello everybody, first post. I'm wondering if anyone knows what the pence print run of Captain Marvel was in the UK? I know it was popular enough to spawn Marvelman and then Miracleman, I'm thinking about submitting a recently acquired pence copy of Captain Marvel that has a cover colored differently then the American version to cgc, its in rough shape and I don't know if I should hold off for a better copy because I have no idea what the rarity is, if anyone could lay some comic book wisdom on me it would be appreciated, thanks
