  1. So I used to get $2 from my dad every other weekend to buy pokemon cards. Threw em all in a binder. And then that binder sat in my mom's attic since.... well whenever they came out. I was going to give the binder to my employees since they like Pokemon cards, but fortunately they were too honest to take it from me and notified me that the values of the cards are probably in the tens of thousands minimum. There's a base set holo Charizard, shadowless apparently. I don't mean to be so indifferent as I'm sure many of you here are enthusiasts. I really just don't hold any personal value with the cards as I never got into the game. The Game Boy game sucked a couple years out of my life though From talking to people, I've had recommended to me to get them graded PSA, Beckett, CGC, bring to a trading card shop etc. I've been warned about mailing them, and the Charizard makes that particularly complicated as I know there may only be a 1 in 1000 chance of the post office losing it, but multiply that against its potential value and I'd rather just fly to the grading place to deliver by hand to avoid the risk of loss. I need a short vacation anyway. Pricecharting.com seems to be a good way to determine value with regards to PSA cards. My goal is to get the most value out of selling these cards. Please give me some direction. Thanks in advance!
